After breakfast, we will start the visit to the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier. Perito Moreno has become a favourite destination thanks to its impressive expanse, accessibility and continuous movement.
Your icy adventure begins with pickup at your El Calafate hotel and a scenic drive to Los Glaciares National Park, including some awesome glaciers called Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini. Once on the trails, you have free time to take an easy hike along park pathways for diverse views of Perito Moreno’s 70-meter-high, blue-tinged walls. Watch closely to see enormous blocks of ice falling into the lake with a thunderous crash. Loud cracking noises are sure to alert you to any movement!
Optional: Safari Nautico - enjoy a 1-hour cruise through the lake in front of Perito Moreno. Sail along the massive glacier wall and in between floating icebergs
Optional: Enjoy a unique mini trekking over the ice of the glacier. It´s an amazing experience. Walk with provided crampons over the ice and take incredible photos! (This activity has to be booked in advance)
After exploring the park, relax on the return drive to El Calafate, where your full day tour concludes in the early evening.
After breakfast, we will pick you up and start the drive to Punta Bandera´s harbour (47 km from El Calafate). After paying the entrance to the national park (not included), we embark on the catamaran and set sail for different glaciers in Lago Argentino. We sail the northern part of the lake until reaching the Upsala Channel where we will meet a splendid barrier of icebergs floating in the lake.
Later we move to the Spegazzini glacier viewpoint from where we will also see the glacier Seco. The Spegazzini Glacier is the highest glacier in the national park, with more than 135 meters in height. Amazing isn´t it? We return to Punta Bandera in the afternoon.
After disembarkation, we will transfer you back to the hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy free time until transfer to airport or bus station.
