Highlights
Relax on the golden sands of My Khe Beach, one of Vietnam’s most celebrated stretches of coastline
Itinerary
Ease into relaxation on this laid-back escape in coastal Da Nang. Over nine days, enjoy plenty of free time to unwind by My Khe Beach, wander through the Marble Mountains, and watch the Dragon Bridge light up after dusk. Between lazy mornings and unhurried afternoons, explore Linh Ung Pagoda, cycle through fishing villages, or try your hand at local cooking. Take a short trip to Hoi An for lantern-lit evenings and soak up Vietnam’s coastal rhythm at your own pace. With generous leisure time and easy-going exploration, this getaway is all about slowing down and simply being.
day 1 - Welcome to Danang
On arrival at Da Nang International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your journey or begin exploring. You might take a gentle stroll along the Han River or enjoy a first taste of central Vietnamese cuisine at a nearby restaurant.
days 2-3 - Danang at Leisure
Spend your first full days in Da Nang enjoying both its natural beauty and local culture. My Khe Beach, once used by American soldiers during the Vietnam War and later named by Forbes as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, is perfect for a morning swim or sunbathing.Take time to explore the Marble Mountains – named after the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth – where centuries-old Buddhist sanctuaries are hidden in caves. In the evenings, visit the Dragon Bridge, an emblem of modern Da Nang, which breathes fire and water during weekend shows.
days 4-5 - Danang at Leisure
Your leisure time in Da Nag continues. The Son Tra Peninsula offers a mix of nature and spirituality. Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the tallest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam, is a place of local pilgrimage, believed to protect fishermen at sea.The surrounding nature reserve shelters rare wildlife, including the red-shanked douc langur, nicknamed the ‘queen of primates’ for its striking colours. For a taste of everyday life, cycle through nearby fishing villages, watch traditional basket boat fishing, or join a cooking class to master local dishes such as mi quang.
days 6-8 - Danang at Leisure
Two more days at leisure in Danang. A short journey brings you to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site once a major trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries. Its well-preserved architecture blends Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese influences, and the streets glow with colourful lanterns each evening.Back in Da Nang, the Museum of Cham Sculpture houses over 300 sandstone relics from the ancient Champa Kingdom, which flourished in central Vietnam from the 2nd to 15th centuries. If time allows, head to Ba Na Hills to walk across the Golden Bridge, held aloft by giant stone hands, or enjoy your final moments by the sea.
day 9 - Danang
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Da Nang International Airport for your departure flight. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey.
