Immerse yourself in Rajasthan, known as the Land of Kings for its countless palaces, forts and monuments to warriors past. On this culture-packed adventure, we visit the imposing forts of Jodhpur and Jaipur, which bear testament to the battles that once raged here, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and search Ranthambore National Park for another regal resident: the elusive Bengal tiger.
The departure starting in Delhi on 14 November 2026 includes a visit to the Pushkar Fair. Read the Colours of Rajasthan - Pushkar Festival itinerary for more details.
day 1Adventure starts in Delhi
Begin your adventure in pulsating Delhi. It’s a city split in two, with historic Old Delhi in the north and the nation’s capital, New Delhi, in the south. Today has been left free, allowing you time to settle into the trip.
Around 6pm, we gather as a group to get to know each other and learn more about the adventures ahead. Your tour leader then ensures a big welcome by arranging a group dinner at a nearby restaurant.

A wonderful trip full of amazing sights, food, colours and an outstanding tour leader!
We are just back from our first ever trip to India. It was a wonderful experience full of amazing buildings, palaces and forts. We tried a wide variety of delicious food and had the opportunity to eat at both top end restaurants for a reasonable price as well as sample a range of street food. The trip certainly lived up to its name as the colours we saw were so vibrant, whether it was ladies dressed in beautiful saris, colourful flowers and garlands or the decoration in the temples.
Colours of Rajasthan
A great way to see a number of sites and cities in a relatively short period of time. Excellent trip , managed efficiently and professionally from start to finish.
Colours of Rajasthan
Covered the India experience I was hoping for. Very well organised tour, decent hotels and restaurants, interesting destinations, comfortable transport, a brilliant experienced guide who managed the group dynamics well. Sufficient free time, varied activities, journeys broken regularly with stops at well chosen venues.
Colours of Rajasthan Trip February 2025
A wonderful two weeks in exciting, chaotic, stimulating Rajasthan. A perfect cure for the winter blues. This trip is very busy but ensures some wonderful experiences and insights into Indian history and culture. The two days in Ranthambore provide a more tranquil setting and opportunity to spot Indian mammals and birds. Our group were not fortunate enough to see a tiger but we did see a sloth bear and lots of other wildlife in a beautiful setting.

I'll be recommending anybody and everybody to go on this trip. I learnt so much and want to continue reading more now on my return. I will be returning to India. I love the Exodus ethos. It was my first time to India, and it won't be my last. I fell in love with it. Exodus, as always made the trip the Waitrose equilvent of supermarkets, a first class trip. Embracing the culture and different experiences everyday was truly magical. Made all the better by our marvellous guide Mayank.
