Costsaver 2025 notes about Britain Ireland Delight: Ist hotel Holiday Inn at Brentford Lock- no water at all! Dinners were good …Breakfasts were good 2nd hotel was ok. The hotels had smelly rooms in Glasgow. In trip to Belfast and Dublin many tour people were coughing and bus was cold and I got sick! Most all were sick and coughing - couple near me did not wear masks! One lady was so sick, she flew home early! Ferry was very rocky going to Wales. Second time after tour…. Back to H.oliday Inn - Brentford - the room was stinky and carpet badly needs replacing.. The front desk gave me a taxi quote to go to Efram via train and called for me. They recommended a mini taxi. The mini taxi driver quoted 38 pounds and it cost me 53!! He made me pay cash not credit card and took me to an ATM!! During the tour, the Bolt driver I used charged an extra 11 pounds because their App changed the address I entered!! The tour driver was good but couldn’t do anything about these problems, I guess…..
Amazing history from this part of the world!!

The tour skims the surface. Not enough time in key places to explore. Not enough pre information provided to enable you to plan what to do with your free time. Single night stays meant you arrive late in the day and leave very early in the morning so you don’t actually see those towns.
We saw a lot!!
We covered a lot of ground, saw a Lot of History and learned a lot. I would like to have seen Stonehenge included in this tour tho. We had to scramble to see this Spectacular site before we left England as we will most likely never have another chance in this life.
Itinerary was fast paced and allowed customers to see many things in a short time.
Value for money and an overview of some amazing locations. Our driver and tour director worked well together and *personal info removed by Feefo* shared his years of knowledge and made our journey streamline.
I think they chose the cities well and we stayed just the right amount of time in each. I like that the excursions were optional so we could choose the ones we were interested in and have free time if we weren't.
Best UK tour ever. Everything included!
Nice stops. Bus rides were long Need more excursion options
Itinerary was very good but i would have expected to see the Cliffs of Moher or any other cliff. This was the only thing that was missing from the tour. Glasgow did nothing for me. Others agreed. Please note, London is not included in the tour. I did it in my own the day I arrived and when we returned to London. There is a train service 13-15 walk from the hotel in Brentford that took me into the city. Finally, the Heathrow Express line was so convenient. No Uber needed.
Add at least one full day in London . Maybe replace 2 hotels used. Especially liked Belfast, Edinburgh , and Windsor.
I thought all of the hotels were great.
Affordable and interesting
Itinerary was perfect. A few places we went I wish we could have spent longer at, but time and distance dictates that, not our guides. The places we went were incredible. The whole experience is something we would love to do again.
I think it would have been better to do fewer towns and a shorter amount of time on the road - just more of a leisure trip would have been better for us,
The cost is reasonable for the service provided.
Too rushed
The itinerary is great. Every day, there is a new place to visit and we can mark it off the list. The tour director is usually very knowledgeable.
We knew that the pace of the tour was going to be fast, but it still seemed very manageable. Our Tour Director was extremely knowledgeable and organised. The little touches provided of the taste treats etc, were so lovely and much appreciated. The coach was comfortable and kept impeccably clean by . The hotels were all good with our only suggestion being it would be great to have less stairs given the age of your travellers.
The itinerary was well thought out. Could have possibly had a little more time in some, but overall very happy. Would suggest name tags for guests who would like to wear. Had to keep asking others for their name. Just a thought.
It was informative. Time well spent . The places visited were remarkable. The tour guides were well informed and very amiable.
The coach and Itinerary was good but the hotels need improvement. Way to small could hardly move around in the room with two people. The IBIS is not good at all!! Saying this I am aware the North America has a lot more spacious hotels but the rooms we had were way to small for two people almost felt like a hostel in some. As far as Itinerary I know we saw A LOT in the 8 days but felt some days were way to rushed and could not get enough time to look around was in a hurry. Definitely the ferry ride back that was 4 hours, that day needs to be adjusted as we literally travelled for 8hours and were exhausted. Need to add more stops on bus to view certain Icons and or view points as we were on bus way too much. So having said all this I would do a longer package next time stopping 2 days in places to really absorb the experience like a 10, 12 or 14 day tour. But my sister and I had an awesome time and loved everything we saw but I guess just inexperience doing tours but that is how we figure out what best to do next time. Great to see 5 countries in such a short time but we were exhausted and felt too rushed. We really want to come back to the UK soon and see more!!! Met a lot of nice people along the way!
So many things to see in so little time. It's incredible that we could visit so much and see so much in just 8 days. We visited 5 countries and 10+ cities. It was slightly rushed but you have time to see the major highlights. Most accommodations were lovely. We had a lovely tour in Cardiff, this was actually the best optional tour. We went around the city tasting local food and going to pubs. The lake district tour was really nice as well. We had a great time in Edinburgh. All the local guides were fun and knowledgeable. I would have loved to have more local foods in the inclusive dinners and optional tours with food.
Rushed, too many extras. Left to fend for ourselves for too long.
We loved the stops, each one was just enough time to sight see and relax.
A quick holiday
Some of the hotel rooms we had were small could not open 2 suitcases at the same time. One hotel had no hot water to take a shower in the morning, another hotel was difficult to get to, we had to walk with our luggage across a busy street and walk another 5 minutes to reach the hotel. The excursions were fantastic!
It's a compact quick tour of the major UK tourist destinations, you walk around quite a bit , best to be able to walk with no problems.
The optional tours were great - multiple options appealing to everyone with specific interests. Gave us enough time to decide and adequate information to pick the best options that works for us.
Needs to be more specific as to what exactly we will drive by, tour, and how many hours we will only be driving daily.
The itinerary was very busy, but we saw a lot. The hotels were clean and the breakfasts were more than what I was expecting, a large variety of hot and cold foods. The downside to all the stops is that you don't always get to spend as much time as you might like in your favourite spots-a great reason to revisit them! I did find everything in the UK to very expensive though including the optional experiences.
The trip was very well planned. The timing of everything was amazing. The only downside was the 4 hour ferry ride from Ireland to Wales, then another 2 hours to our destination. Most of that day was spent in transit.
This trip is the highlights with spare time included.
The itinerary was well-planned and allowed us to see all the major highlights without feeling too rushed. The coach was comfortable and clean, and the driver was professional. Most of the hotels were good and met expectations, although a few could use some improvement in terms of comfort or location. Overall, a satisfying experience.
Tour Guide was exceptional!! A walking encyclopaedia of history knowledge Saw beautiful places , villages and met lovely people. Some things that were stated as things we would see we didn’t. Example Wray Castle on Lake Windimere cruise Glasgow hotel not the best and very hard beds But all in all it was a pleasant trip
