Check out of your hotel this morning. Your suitcase will be forwarded separately to your hotel in Kyoto, allowing you to travel light for the day.

At 8:30am, meet your private guide and make your way to the station to board the Shinkansen for a smooth and efficient journey to Hiroshima.

Upon arrival, begin a full-day exploration of Hiroshima and Miyajima Island, experiencing two of Japan’s most powerful and iconic destinations. This thoughtfully paced journey offers a moving blend of historical reflection, cultural insight, and natural beauty.

Today, your private local guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 9:30 AM for a full-day exploration of Kyoto.

First is a visit to the Nijo Castle, built in the early 17th century. Ninomaru- goten, renovated in 1626, is a building renowned as a priceless example of the architectural style of that period. At the Nishijin Textile Center, you can view displays of kimonos and even watch a kimono fashion show. Visit the Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) covered with 18-carat gold leaf. This three-story structure was originally built by the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in 1397.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Arashiyama and explore Tenryuji Temple, where you can admire the serene beauty of a traditional Zen landscape garden. Stroll through the bamboo grove, passing quaint shrines, charming tea shops, and private homes, before arriving at the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge spanning the Hozu River.
