Best of Holland

We had a great tour guide and driver. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Netherlands. Felt a little rushed at some stops. Would have preferred to spend more time in the Den Hague and seen more of it and skipped Rotterdam. Loved all the boat trips we took and the local guides who showed us around.

The trip to the Netherlands was fantastic! I would definitely go back. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful experience!!! was a great tour director. She knows the country well and made history come alive with facts and stories as we drove from site to site. The food was delicious and the hotels very comfy. We had an excellent and safe bus driver. I loved learning about all of the Dutch history, the art, seeing the bikes, the dairy farm, the royal blue Delft factory, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Arnhem, the windmills, cheese, and clogs!! But the best part was Kuchkenhof Gardens!! I love tulips and seeing this garden was absolutely amazing!! I am still overwhelmed at the site of all those tulips and the beautiful tulip fields!! Thank you for an unforgettable journey! I can’t wait to go back! 🌷

I had just come off a 13 day best of Italy tour which was full on because off the distances we covered, so it was nice to have a more relaxed tour through Holland It was fantastic and our tour director was great and it was so nice to see where my parents hail from Totally recommend this tour

We were informed the optional dinner location changed. The price increased and the selections of sides and main not on par with the value. Bilderburg hotels in Amsterdam and Rotterdam are both run down. Poor check in experience and errors incurred during checked in for Amsterdam. For Rotterdam, our room bed mattress visible saggy, dust collected on side table, wall. The kettle has a layer of thick, sticky slime. The hotel is unable to provide us with choices of room except one, one level below. More stairs to walk. However, the replace room mattress was old and saggy as well. One light bulb spoilt. As the hotel informed us that this was the last room, we have to accept it. Two unpleasant nights. Suggest removing Bilderburg in the hotel list. Customer recovery service was provided for our next stay at Fletcher. I have sought assistance from Tour Director to book a room in Mercure for final night in Amsterdam. The room was not acceptable condition. Even though this is additional request not listed in the tour itinerary. I do sincerely hope the Tour Director can inform the hotel to ensure they keep up to their service quality. The room i had (room number 4001) shower room drainage clogged and water flowed super slow. Tiles are moldy and slippery. No bathroom slippers as well. Like the room not ready to welcome guest. Attached both hotel rooms' photos for your reference. This is my first experience with Trafalgar. Was told by my friend to join her for this trip as Trafalgar never failed her but not this trip. Should I give Trafalgar any chance?

Not so much traveling time from place to place

Our travel director and driver were excellent! The hotel accommodations were great, and the sights were amazing! The only thing is we might have benefited from staying at some of the places longer to see more, I know it is a lot to do in only 7 days, but it felt like we were rushing through some of the places, and maybe allowing a little more time to grab meals on our own- just felt like we were racing to grab a bite and get back to the bus. This was a great trip!!

Great trip made even better by the tour director and , the driver. Amazing scenery and experiences. The short distances between discovery points was ideal for tiling the time at each place.

We purposely purchase this trip for tulip fields. We arrived 18th of May. Itinerary says tulip blooms mid March till mid May😔 we didn’t get to see the real thing. Sad but otherwise the trip was amazing. Nice weather, nice place our travel director is very helpful and local guide as well. We had an optional tour though but we’re still eager for tulip fields. Maybe next time🌷

That it was very organized and very informative

The itinerary was perfect; it was wonderful to see the interesting cities that one would not find on their own. The tour director was wonderful and helpful. She made the trip interesting. The only issue I had was the hotels; the locations were perfect but because it was an unusual heat spell the air conditioning systems were not working or the hotel room did not have one.

1. Knowing the details of the itinerary far in advance is important, not good we had to wait for details so close to the trip. 2. Amsterdam should have included more than just the Rike Museum. I was told it was because the other places (Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House) are too difficult to get tickets. Not sure why you don't have an agreement with these places. 3. Too much time wasted drinking coffee/eating apple pie. This trip could have been done in 4 days - it was like you were looking for things to do that were dumb (cheese and clogs - they didn't even show how they make cheese or clogs, they just wanted us in their store to buy product).

I thought it was excellent. did an outstanding job. After six days, I definitely felt as if I had a comprehensive understanding of The Netherlands. The tour was very well rounded. One of my FAVORITE events on the tour was the Air Museum in Oosterbeek. I thought it was so interesting and also something I never would have selected on my own. The hotels were centrally located except for the first and third. The third was no problem because we got there at the end of the day and a dinner was planned for that evening. However the first hotel was a big disappointment. It was in the middle of a construction site, far off the beaten path. The hotel we stayed in in Amsterdam at the end of the trip was a MUCH better choice.

It covered so many wonderful places and our guide was so informative and ran things so smoothly. Also, the driver was terrific. It was a large but good group. Also, arranging for smaller groups when we visited some of the sites was the best. I would definitely recommend Trafalgar and go on another tour with them.

The days start early but you are ahead of other tourists. It was wonderful to be the first tour bus to the museums or tulip fields.

Excellent itinerary--shows everything you need to see in The Netherlands. The tour director was very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone's needs.

Easy paced yet filled with beautiful sights and experiences. Kept busy all day yet had plenty of down time to either explore or chill.
