This is our second trip with Trafalgar and to be honest already planning our next trip with Trafalgar early next year. It was a wonderful experience. is our TD and is our driver . They took care of us . The details of the itinerary is superb . The drive in each places that we go to is kind of long but it’s worth it because some of the places is unexpectedly charming . Anybody planning the trip of traditional Europe ask for and . Quite a good pair . One is an experienced and knowledgeable TD , the other will take care of you well , an expert driver . Can’t wait for the next adventure.

We were able to see and do a lot all because of ! She knew the tour front and back. She kept us well informed on what will be happening and what to expect. Not even a rainstorm could throw her off her game. She adjusted the schedule to keep us safe and dry. Our coach driver was absolutely amazing! We never had to lug our luggage to or from our hotel room. We placed our bags outside our room before breakfast, and they were in our room at the next hotel later that day. We will definitely use Trafalgar for our next land tour.

Awesome trip. The app was amazing, it helped a lot! The luggage was waiting for us at the different hotels and the hotel accommodation was amazing and placed close to the town centre's. We loved all the towns we rode through and stopped at. It was a fantastic trip!

A great trip and a feel for Europe. Covered a lot of countries, in the time frame given. But felt it needed to be over 21 days not 18 days.

There should not have been optional tours so close to the start where there was not enough time to arrange other options, for those time frames, for those who did not want to pay extra. Loved the tours myself.

About Amsterdam

on your way to work. There is always an event or a festival to become a part of and those quiet canals and beautiful bridges give it a traditional European feel. It also has some of the best museums, art galleries, opera houses and orchestras. Despite all this, the city is famous for its comfort factor. The best place to experience the real Amsterdam is in its cafes or in one of those popular restaurants after dinner, for that’s when the locals truly open up.

Real Explorations

The Van Gogh museum hosts the largest collection of arts made by the master. The Rijksmuseum located within walking distance introduces you to other European greats such as Rembrandt and Vermeer. Pay your respects at the Anne Frank House, the very place where she lived and wrote her diary. Explore medieval architecture at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. Buy a tulip or two in Bloemenmarkt, the world famous flower market. Enjoy the Heineken Experience. No it’s an attraction. Promise! And whatever you do, don’t forget to visit the Red Light District. Even if it’s just to see what the hype is all about.

Getting Around Amsterdam

The city presents a comprehensive and efficient public transportation system that includes trains, trams, metros, buses, ferries and taxis. However, the best way to explore the city is on a bike.
