Honest insights from past guests on our Museum and gallery visits Holland tours

Food was very good. The crew was great- very friendly and accommodating. Loved floating down the rivers and through the locks. Amsterdam was undoubtedly my favorite spot, probably because we got to spend more time there. Everything we saw was great!

Maja our tour manager was amazing. My favorite trip was to Amsterdam but my favorite activity was the ridiculously silly and fun play we participated in with spur of the moment costumes. It allowed us to act like kids again. The food was great and the people were fantastic!

All was memorable and I will say that Markus was a fantastic tour manager. He kept us all abreast of details, made us all feel special and took the time to get to know each and every one of us.

I am so glad I was able to get tickets to Anne Franke's museum. Wish you could somehow make it part of your package tours. Had a wonderful time. Food was excellent. Good variety and good portion sizes. Staff were so helpful and professional. The various announcements were very helpful too. Really, only complaint is not enough time to visit some sights, like Koln Cathedral and I understand we have to keep schedule due to the ships schedule. Overall wonderful experience and will recommend to family and friends.

I had an amazing experience. It was incredibly relaxing to take the river cruise and wake up at our next destination, experiencing the scenery along the way. The whole crew was accommodating and so responsive to our needs. The only comment I have is that the room lacked sufficient storage. There were not enough electrical outlets in the world to accommodate the increasing use of technology. Loved the excursions and the local guide was incredible. I wished we had had some German food at least once and Riesling wine from the valley on the ship. Another issue is that, with our group, there were five of us who needed to upgrade our accommodation and had to pay over $ 1,000 per person. I was fine with doing the upgrade, but I did not think the return on my investment (ROI) was sufficient compared to our accommodation. Compared to the rest of our group, they had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Our room did not seem like a premium room, but it was conveniently located near the dining room area. Overall, I loved my experience and would do it again. I wish I had planned a post-cruise extension in Switzerland, or that Collette had offered a pre- and post-discounted trip with guided excursions. I am planning on going to Rome with the same group and will take advantage of the pre-tour offering.

The river cruise was excellent and we enjoyed it greatly. That said, for a group of seniors some of the walking was difficult. Everyone managed but up hills was hard in some. The other issue on this trip was the lack of time for retail therapy. Either there wasn’t any time or it was brief. Our group always loves a few souvenirs but we just didn’t have time in some places. We had a walking tour of Cologne but only 15 minutes for the Cathedral. It wasn’t anywhere near enough time. If I’d realized we continue walking but end up back at the Cathedral, I would have just stayed there. That was my biggest disappointment. As well as being in Strosbourg in a Sunday but unable to visit the Cathedrral at all. The line to get in was incredibly long and we didn’t have enough time to wait. Both of these issues were very disappointing for me as I’d looked forward to seeing both. Aside from those 2 major issues, it was great! Food was excellent and staff was as well. Marcus Graff is wonderful!
