Marrakech Accommodation Pick-Up & Trek Agersioual - Tiziane (L/D)
At around 9:00 am you will be picked-up from your accommodation in Marrakech for a pleasant drive heading south, through the Gorges of Tahnaoute and Moulay Brahim, passing by the Berber village of Asni and arriving to Agersioual (1,600m). Meet up with the Berber muleteer crew and set off northwest for a 3-hour acclimatisation hike along mule tracks, surrounded by cornfields and Juniper trees. Once on Tizi Oudid Pass (2,219m), take a break and enjoy the panorama of the Imlil and n'Aït Ouissadene Valleys before setting off again for another half hour to Id Issa, for a picnic bounded by stark valleys and high mountain peaks. After lunch, begin a slow hike down a dirt track heading South-West, into the Assif n'Aït Ouissadene Valley and the the clay village of Tiziane (1,730m), where you will receive dinner and spend the night in a Berber house or optionally, if the weather permits, camping.
Trek Tiziane - Azib Assoul (B/L/D)
After breakfast, start hiking along the Assif n'Aït Ouissadene Valley up to the Tizi n'Toutilt Pass (2,394m) and onto a flat stretch arriving at Assaka Spring, where you will stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature and quietness. In the afternoon you will be hiking up and down hills, overlooking the Berber village of Tizgui from above before reaching your overnight Berber home stay in Thkent or optionally, if the weather permits, the camping site of Azib Assoul (2,300m).
Trek Azib Assoul - Tizi Oussem (B/L/D)
After breakfast, set off hiking towards the Tizi Tagdalt Pass (2,850m), encountering many sheep and goat herders as well as women and children loading firewood and dried herbs. Descend along many juniper trees until arriving at a small spring to refresh and have lunch. In the afternoon walk down the upper slopes treks until arriving to a small river at the entrance of the Assif Ouissadene Valley, before reaching Tissi Oussem Village (1,850m), where you will spend the night at a Berber house or, if the weather permits, camping under walnut trees by the river.
Tizi Oussem - Imlil & Marrakech Accommodation Drop-Off (B/L)
Enjoy breakfast and take off through juniper trees to cross the Tizi M'Zik Pass (2,460m) and to descend to the small village of M'Zik Azib Bredoun, where you will enjoy a traditional picnic surrounded by walnut trees and spectacular mountain peaks. Optionally, you can take a route detour to visit the D'Irhoulidene Waterfalls, adding an extra couple of hours walking before lunch time. In the afternoon set off to the Berber village of Imlil to catch the transfer back to your accommodation inMarrakech, where this amazing adventure will come to an end.
