day 1 - Arrival in Puerto Natales
After arriving at the Hotel in Puerto Natales, you will have time to explore this little town on your own. If the weather is good, you will get the first impressive panorama of the Paine Massif and Monte Balmaceda from here. In the evening you meet your trekking guide for a short briefing about the next days.

day 2 - Hike to the Torres del Paine Granite Needles
In the morning, take a private bus ride to the Torres del Paine National Park and see some of the native wildlife of this fantastic region like Guanacos and Ñandus. In the afternoon, your first hike leads you to the famous 'Torres' granite needles. At first you hike up to the Ascencio Valley where you take a break at the Refugio Chileno next to the Ascencio River. After 2–3 hours of tough ascent, you will be rewarded for your efforts. Stand in front of the impressive needles with a green lagoon lying at your feet. Spend the night in a fully equipped campsite, with two-person-tents and an unobstructed view of the starry sky.

day 3 - Hike along Nordenskjöld Lake
Today, you hike along Lago Nordenskjöld and the gigantic Monte Almirante Nieto to the wonderful campsite Cuernos, close to the lake. From here, you will have a picturesque view on the Paine Grande massif. There will be enough time to enjoy this inviting campsite while sitting together and sharing your one-time impressions. Spend overnight in either Cuernos or Frances campsite.

In case both Cuernos and Frances campsites are fully booked, you will take an alternative itinerary involving a half-day hike along Nordenskjöld Lake with its colorful waters. Passing Monte Almirante Nieto (2,640 m), you can probably watch condors circling the sky.
In the afternoon, continue your journey on a public transport to “Pudeto sector” for approximately one hour. Afterwards, you cross the beautiful Pehoe Lake on a catamaran to reach Paine Grande campsite, your base camp for the next two days.

day 4 - Hike to the French Valley Lookout
Today you will hike up to camp Italiano. From there you walk further up until you reach a superb viewpoint of the Valley Frances or the French Valley. From here, you can see the impressive “Circuito de Granito” which looks like a colosseum. Later, descent to the next campsite near the emerald green Lago Pehoe.

day 5 - Trek to Grey Glacier (Optional: kayak or ice hike)
Today, you continue to Camino de los Vientos until you reach a nice viewpoint from where you can admire a striking view over the Glacier Grey. After taking in the views, scale down along the impressive Grey Lake to your next camp.
In the afternoon, you can choose an optional three-hour kayak excursion on the Grey Lake along the icebergs of the Grey Glacier, or a 4–5-hour ice hike on Glacier Grey. These activities will cost extra USD150–210 per person and you must make reservations in advance.

day 6 - Boat Ride Lago Grey – Puerto Natales
In the morning, take a boat ride on the splendid Lago Grey, passing along the icy glacier and crossing the beautiful lake. Take in the views of the place for the last time before hopping in a private transport that will take you back to Puerto Natales.

day 7 - Puerto Natales – El Calafate
Today, you will take a regular bus through the wind shaped Pampa to El Calafate in Argentina. This 270-kilometer journey will take approximately six hours to complete. In the afternoon, you have time for shopping or for trying one of the famous Argentine steaks. The bird sanctuary Laguna Nimez on Lago Argentino also invites you to visit.

day 8 - El Calafate – El Chaltén
Today, you will heading to El Chaltén on a regular bus. The 215-kilometer bus ride will take almost three hours. En route, you will have a stopover at Estancia La Leona.
El Chaltén is a lovely village in the mountains that will be your starting point for the next days. In the afternoon you have some time to discover this idyllic place on our own or to do a short hike to the waterfall Chorillo del Salto.

day 9 - El Chaltén – Cerro Torre Trek
In the morning, you will meet your trekking guide and set out on your second leg of the trek.
A hike of approximately six hours will leads you to Laguna Torre, where you will have a great view of the Cerro Torre (3,102m) with its glaciers. We will take a break at Agostini Camp, the base camp for all Cerro Torre mountaineers.

Today, you will hike to Laguna de los Tres and the viewpoint of Laguna Sucia. You will also pass the Base Camp Rio Blanco that serves all Fitz Roy mountaineers. Your efforts will be rewarded with an unforgettable view on the Monte Fitz Roy (3,406 m) and the surrounding mountains.

You can also have some time to yourself discovering the place on your own and go on short hikes to the viewpoints like Condores and Aguilas.
In the evening, head back to El Calafate on a regular bus. The 215-kilometer journey will take approximately three hours to complete.

day 12 - Full-day Perito Moreno Glacier Trek
Today, you will participate in a full-day guided and shared excursion to the incomparable Perito Moreno Glacier in the Los Glaciers National Park, a part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. If you are lucky you will witness the glacier calving. You will also take a boat ride over the Argentino Lake along the imposing ice walls of the glacier.
