Amsterdam to Bruges Bike & Barge - Comfort

Our Boat and barge tour was amazing. The crew were brilliant, the food was delicious, the boat was clean as were the cabins. Put this on your Bucket List.

Great crew and the bike routes were beautiful, easy to ride and follow. The food was ok.

User friendly website made trip selection easy. Once the booking was made prompt and relevant communication was received by the representatives. The actual trip was well organised and most enjoyable.

Fabulous experience and a quite different way to travel as you really get to see the countryside up close and meet the people.

Loved Amsterdam to Bruges. Biking is the way to see Europe.

What an incredible bike and barge experience through The Netherlands and Belgium. The ship was so comfortable, the food great, the staff led by Mac incredible and the guide Hugo so full of energy and fun. Totally recommend this trip if you want a more intimate crowd and countries to cycle through that are flat and extremely bike friendly.

The bike-barge trip from Amsterdam to Bruges was blessed with wonderful weather, excellent guides (Mischa and Arendina), exceptional crew and fellow guests. I went with a travel buddy but you could easily do it by yourself as everyone seems to make friends with one another! I am not a regular bike rider but did some training to get used to traffic and paths etc. For me, the ebike worked a treat and made the long distances a pleasure rather than a pain.

The staff were amazing! Our bike tour guides were always available for questions, the crew on the barge were so professional and took every opportunity to make our trip special! The tour was very scenic and the map app was easy to follow. Highly highly recommend!

Good routes, once system explained & trialed for a day,very easy to use. Good countryside travel, safe & picturesque. Got lost only.once. Boat crew terrific and food was absolutely first class (they did need another toaster at breakfast however).

The trip itself was great! The boat MS Fluvius has some maintenance and health issues that impacted on half the passengers.

Fun group, great tour guides, wonderful food, responsive crew. Overall, a fabulous trip!

We had a fantastic time biking in Holland and Belgium. The crew and guides on board the barge were wonderful and the food was very good. Onboard there was a relaxed atmosphere and it was interesting to talk to people from all over the world who were also there. We are currently planning our next year's trip on another holiday!

Overall good experience!

The boat was immaculately presented with comfortable cabins and plenty of space to relax. The food was a wonderful surprise. The menu varied with 3 courses every evening of restaurant quality. Breakfasts delicious and a perfect start to the day. The staff so welcoming friendly and attentive.

What a great time we had a wonderful team of people to make sure that we had a safe and comfortable time the weather wasn’t kind but we all survived with smiles The ride was comfortable distances The food was amazing and the bikes were comfortable

My husband and I have just finished the Bike & Barge trip from Amsterdam to Bruge. We loved everything about this trip. The boat was good , the guides were great. I used an E-bike and it was the best decision I made, made the day riding go so smoothly. It was so nice each day riding through little villages and farmland. I would recommend this trip to any one and I’d do it again. Thank you Anya and Corrie who were our guides.

Trip was fabulous. Lots of fun. A few technical issues but it did not detract from overall experience. Ship and crew all good value.

Our trip commenced at the end of September and we were very fortunate to have only 1 rainy morning. The rest of the time we had ideal weather for riding, although on some days it was quite windy. We booked a comfort trip as the premium trips had already sold out. We were so glad we had the best cabin available as it had a nice big window which could open to let in fresh air. The staff were excellent & our chef was a magician because of the excellent food he produced in such a small kitchen. Arnold, our tour leader, was well organised & our guided group rode at a reasonable pace (we opted not to have an e-bike). The tour definitely has a strong focus on cycling as we would often re-join the boat quite late in the afternoon. The barge was cosy but comfortable.

The leader for the cycling was excellent and we loved the experience of the beautiful countryside and fascinating cities and towns. Our cabin was comfortable and quite spacious and it was fun being with a friendly group from different countries. The only disappointment was the food. There was plenty but it was very stodgy so different from our other trip in Provence.

We loved this trip! Just what I hoped for; countryside biking and seeing how this part of the world lives. I was amazed at how Amsterdam through to Belgium bike trails are a main source of transportation. The barge had great tasting dinners and a fine team to give us a feeling of comfort amongst people from all over the world. A great experience!
