I was a bit worried at the start with the room confusion but once that was straightened out, I felt much better. I have never been on a group tour and loved the small size of the group. I knew before our first dinner was over that it was going to be a great trip. It was well organized, our CEO Gabriela was simply amazing, our group was great and I am already looking at the next trip I will take with G Adventures. Thank you.

The itinerary for this trip was exactly what we were looking for. It was a great way to see Portugal highlights while traveling with friends who I haven't seen in a while. Highlights were time spent in Duoro Valley and all the great food and wine consumed in the beuatiful locations along the way.

Art lovers like me, this one’s for you. Portugal dazzled with art and faith. Two features jumped out immediately: Lisbon’s Monastery of Jeronimos, a Manueline masterpiece and Fatima, a place of deep meaning. Wandering Nazare’s windy cliffs and watching Atlantic surf pound felt elemental.
Obidos’ castle and ramparts invited daydreams of knights and medieval poets. The Gothic arches of Batalha took my breath away. Porto's tile-covered churches and artistic heritage felt soulful as we sampled local port wines beside the Douro River.
The highlight was Coimbra, Europe’s amazing academic city, steeped in history and tradition. The old university chapel’s 18th-century Portuguese Baroque design left me speechless.
Guides were enthusiastic and informative. If you love art, faith, and ocean air, this tour is a rich tapestry not to be missed.
Take in the highlights of sun-kissed Portugal on a seven-day sightseeing adventure from Porto to Lisbon. Taste port in its birthplace, explore riverfront Coimbra and its historic university, and weave through the verdant countryside all the way to the capital. From the coastal sites of Nazare to the medieval town of Obidos and a traditional Fado show, you’ll be experiencing the best of Portugal’s arts and culture. Oh yes – they have pretty good custard tarts, too. Put Portugal on your itinerary today with a small-group journey that gets you to the places you need to see.
