This was my first Geluxe trip, having done four 18-30something trips previously. This again had an excellent, knowledgable and friendly CEO who embodied G Adventures ethos and wanted to ensure everyone had a great trip. The itinerary has a great balance between activities and rest and pace that means a lot is packed in to 12 days, without feeling excessively rushed. The accommodation and food throughout was excellent, thank you G!

They were gracious, knowledgeable and pleasure to trek with!!! On our final day, we explore the historic town of Kirtipur, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu, where we delve into the rich culture of the indigenous Newar community, indulge in authentic Newari cuisine, and immerse ourselves in the local heritage.
Sudarshan was the most wonderful guide we could possibly have. The trip was amazing and he is so knowledgeable and attentive to individuals needs, that he made the whole trek an absolute delight. When the demands of the trek were taking their toll on me he was so attuned to all of us that he immediately recognised I was struggling, long before I was prepared to say anything. Even when we were shredded by leeches, Sudarshan's big smile and calm nature had us all seeing the funny side! He is one of life's treasures and I will take my grandson back to do that trip with him some day.
Sudarshan KC, our tour leader was a very kind and thoughtful person. He was very attentive to everyone’s needs. Being the only vegan in the group, he was very helpful to let me know which foods contained animal products. He also explained to the kitchen staff what my needs were. He did his best to talk about his country but sometimes he was hard to understand because of our language barrier and his accent but he tried extra hard to make things clearer. I would definitely recommend him to others who go on this tour or tour with Su.
