Not only is he an encyclopedia and loved sharing information with us while trekking, he was smart, strategic, and patient all throughout the trip. He actively used his experience to guide us on the trek, making changes that would better our chances of crossing the pass and visiting Tilicho lake in the best way possible, which I appreciated. Ramesh is also very friendly and warm, which truly helped, as our experience literally felt like a perfect intertwine between a guided tour and a trek, which we greatly appreciated. To be able to do this at altitude with a variety of personalities, all while being patient must be respected. The Annapurna circuit trek was incredible. Our guide Raju (pics attached) made it so special- he was the best guide ever. Nima our porter was also excellent, very kind always putting us first. We felt very well looked after. A couple of days in I fell ill, but Raju put my needs at the forefront. He made sure I was safe at all times, constantly checking my oxygen levels and breathing, I felt very safe. In his supply’s he had some medication which cleared the illness. If it wasn’t for Raju’s preparation I don’t think I would have been able to finish the trek- I am so grateful The views and trekking routes were spot on. Raju was very knowledgable telling us about the mountains but also giving us space to walk together- he had the perfect balance. The guest houses were excellent, much better than I had expected with a private room at all of the locations. Excellent food options too, 3 large meals a day, we weren’t going to go hungry!
