Itinerary

Challenge yourself while experiencing the best the Annapurna Region of Nepal has to offer on this 12-day Annapurna Base Camp trek. This is one of the most popular trekking routes in the world, and for good reason!

The trek begins from Pokhara with a short drive to Nayapul village. The route ascends a river valley that gradually narrows before opening up into an amphitheater of mountains. Trek though beautiful Gurung and Gorkha villages, rice paddy fields in the lower section, and rhododendron forests with stunning views of the Himalayas. Reach 4200-meter altitude at Annapurna Base Camp. The spot is surrounded by 360 degree views of Himalayas. After staying the night and snapping many photos, we return back and stop at a natural hot spring where you can enjoy a hot bath!

day 1 - Kathmandu - Pokhara

We'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to Pokhara, which takes about 7 hours. Transfer to hotel.

day 2 - Pokhara Nayapul drive, trek to Ulleri (2000m)

Drive about 1.5 hours to Nayapul, the gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Walk along the river banks to Hille and stop for for lunch. Then trek along the Tikedhunga to Ulleri. Ulleri is a beautiful Magar village with good views of Annapurna South mountain.

day 3 - Trek to Ghorepani (2800m)

We begin today's hike through the small village Ban Thanti and trek uphill to Ghorepani. We should see stunning views of Annapurna South and Mount Fishtail, as well as lush rhododendron forest.

day 4 - Poon Hill - Tadapani (2600m)

In the early morning, we trek to Poon Hill viewpoint (3210 m). Here we hope to have stunning panoramic sunrise views of the high Himalayans.

We trek down to Ghorepani and continue trek to Tadapani through Deurali forest.

day 5 - Tadapani - Chomrong (2200m)

After enjoying views of Annapurna and Machhepuchre, we descend down to Kymrong River. Cross the suspension bridge and trek to Chomrong village (2200m) Chomrong is a well established Gurung town with scenic and up-close views of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Fishtail Mardi Himal.

day 6 - Chomrong - Bambo - Dovan (2550m)

We trek down into a narrow valley today to Dovan.

day 7 - Dovan - Deurali - Machhepuchre Base Camp (3700m)

Today we continue through forest and along the Himalayas, ascending to Machhepuchre Base Camp. Some sections of this trek today are narrow rocky trails and have a risk of avalanches during the winter season. From Deurali, we officially enter the Alpine Zone.

day 8 - Machhepuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

Today we travel to Annapurna Base Camp, also known as Annapurna Sanctuary. It is the ultimate hike along a glacier ridge, with views that continue to awe as we go higher. We'll take 2 hours to reach the base camp and then enjoy walking around the area enjoying the spectacular 360-degree views of Annapurna Himalayas.

day 9 - Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2100m)

Today we begin the return trek back. After enjoying the morning glory of Annapurna Base Camp, we descend down to Bamboo via Machhepuchre Base Camp, Deurali and Himalayas - Dovan on the same route.

day 10 - Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring (1800m)

Trek to Jhinu danda via Chomrong village along th same route then step down to the hot springs, enjoy the natural hot bath in the deep gorge of Modi River bank.

day 11 - Trek and drive back to Pokhara

After breakfast, cross the Kymrong khola and continue trekking to the road access at Siwei village. Drive back to Pokhara. Hotel.

day 12 - Journey back to Kathmadu

Today we return to Kathmandu via tourist bus and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, attend a farewell dinner in a Nepali restaurant with culture show. Trip ends here!
