We started our trip from Sotikhola though the jeep can go up to Machhakhola. we didn't expect good Lodges in this trip but our tour operator provided us majority of the stay attached room with comfortable bed. Food was yummy. took jeep from Dharapani as we didn't want to walk along the road.

From Lokpa to Ghap to Lho, we pass Gurung and Thakali villages. At Samagaon, we take a rest for another day and explore the village. We gradually gain altitude from here to Samdo, Dharmasala and cross the Larke La pass at 5200m to reach Bhimtang which marks the end of the trek. We will now begin our journey back passing through Pokhara and the way back. Whether you wish to stay in Pokhara for a couple of days or go all the way back to Kathmandu is up to you.

I used this local operator for a solo climb expedition of Chulu West in the Annapurna Region (6419m Peak) Khum and Krishna at the office did a great job in setting everything up and communication during the expedition was easy, fast and efficient. The logistics were taken care of without any major hiccups. This expedition is quite an undertaking with setting up both a base camp on around 5000m and a High Camp around 5600m, but everything went smoothly. The absolut highlight were the guides: - the general guide Bishnu who knows the Annapurna Area inside out - the climbing guide LakCha who is extremely competent and knowledgeable about all aspects of high altitude climbing I cant praise the guides enough and would urge you to request them specifically for any high altitude climbs ! We had a great successful summit day with amazing weather and reached the summit in record time just for sunrise ! I give this operator and Bishnu and LakCha my highest recommendation !

Island Peak Climbing from Chhukung is a great way to explore some of the best and most stunning views of the Himalayan range. Lobuche Peak actually includes two different summits, East (6119m.) and West (6145m.). An uninterrupted edge links them but there is a significant distance between the two. The east is identified as a trekking peak while the west is regarded as an expedition peak (meaning that it is only for experienced climbers). This climbing trip is for Lobuche East Peak - a climbing peak, and hence a relatively easy climbing peak (which can be done also if you do not have any previous climbing experience), firstly climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyaljen Sherpa in 1984. I completed the EBC trek with this local tour operator in October. From the beginning the company were excellent. They responded to all questions very quickly and clearly. They provided lots of extra information for me for my stay in Kathmandu. The guide on my trek, Raj, was excellent. He was great fun and had our safety as his first priority all the time. He kept us positive throughout and gave us clear information before each day of what would happen. The lodges we stayed in were exactly what we needed and the food throughout the trek was great. Our porters were also great fun and so kind. Raj was excellent at keeping everyone together and making sure that everybody was ok during the trek. We had a beautiful celebratory dinner once we had completed the trek, where we saw some traditional dancing and received plaques to remember our trek. The trek exceeded my expectations and I think a lot of that is down to Himalayan Recreation. I would highly recommend them for your trek!
