I had a beautiful experience during 16 days in Kathmandu and trekking to EBC with this local travel specialist. Since the pickup at airport, support with hotel , gear shopping’s. My guide Kumar was also excellent and very professional, I couldn’t made it successfully without him and all support provided. Very thanks to Mr Khum which was confident and experienced making me feel safety and well supported by his team. I really recommend them and hopefully will see you soon. Namaste

A well-designed trek with carefully planned stages and acclimatization days. The guide was professional, experienced, attentive, encouraging, and reassuring. It was an exceptional experience with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The pace was well-adapted—we traveled as a family, with parents aged 69 and a son aged 34.

My guide, Rammesh, was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, caring, and made the trek feel smooth, safe, and deeply meaningful. I can’t imagine a better guide.

Just completed the Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri, Cho-La and EBC treks with this local travel expert and had an unforgettable experience. Throughout the whole process Chhatra was an impressive communicator - very responsive, simple, clear and informative. Our guide (Rinji) and porter (also Rinji !!) were incredibly flexible in helping us make the impossible, possible - whilst always looking out for our health and wellbeing. I cannot more highly recommend this agency for your Himalaya adventure - the whole team was truly incredible - experienced, knowledgable and well connected to all the best places to stay along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure everything went smoothly (organizing the trek accommodation, helping with the flight and helping with each meal). We did the 4-day Kathmandu valley trek and it was one of the most indelible and life-changing experiences. The trek encompasses so much more than just the view itself (which is ethereal!) -- you get to meet and interact with locals that would welcome you to take a basum (a break) on their porch, taste authentic Nepali cuisines, and maybe even pick up a few Nepali phrases. The company did a wonderful job communicating with us and catering to our questions and concerns throughout the trip. Big shoutout to our guide Bibek for being literally the best Dai/teacher one could ask for! I booked this trek at quite short notice in September 2018.
My schedule was a bit tight so I had to cut the trip short from the standard 12 days down to 11, but this was no problem for Friends adventure who were able to fit the trek in plus an extra day of whitewater rafting as well.
Hira, my guide, was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly and made sure everything went to plan, so that I managed to make it to Base Camp and Kala Pathar as well (and I'm an unfit 50 year old who hadn't really done enough training).
The trek itself was spectacular and everything I'd hoped it would be.
I would definitely recommend Friends Adventure to anyone planning a trip to Nepal.
