The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek itself was a magical experience filled with breathtaking scenery and memorable moments. The trail led us through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and dense forests of rhododendron, providing a diverse and ever-changing landscape to explore. Each day brought new adventures and challenges, with the highlight being the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, where we were treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges bathed in golden light.
The teahouses and lodges we stayed in during the trek were comfortable and cozy, offering a warm respite after long days of hiking. The local hospitality and delicious meals provided a taste of Nepalese culture and made us feel welcomed and at home in the mountains.

I just finished a customized extended 19 day trek around Manaslu. My local guide Tsiring used his extraordinary familiarity with the area to include two overnight home-stays and five days of hiking on unique trails away from the standard route around the mountain.
The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!
Wonderful trek experience, my favorite part was the Tsum Valley extension - walking through the pine forest, with rhododendrons in bloom and surrounded by birdsong, was lovely, particularly with the reduced levels of donkey traffic relative to the main route! Crossing the Larkya La in perfect weather made for a stunning climax to the trip.
Just completed the Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri, Cho-La and EBC treks with this local travel expert and had an unforgettable experience. Throughout the whole process Chhatra was an impressive communicator - very responsive, simple, clear and informative. Our guide (Rinji) and porter (also Rinji !!) were incredibly flexible in helping us make the impossible, possible - whilst always looking out for our health and wellbeing. I cannot more highly recommend this agency for your Himalaya adventure - the whole team was truly incredible - experienced, knowledgable and well connected to all the best places to stay along the way. This was our first trip to the Himalayas and we had the absolute greatest experience ever, thanks in total to the service from the local operator and our sherpa/guide Chandan Magar. Chandan proved to be more then the most capable and knowledgable of guides, always looking after us etc., he was also very personable and fun to spend with me during the trek ! We had many great laughs, eclipsed only by the wonderful places he took us to see. His knowledge and grasp of everything Nepali gave a deep insight into much more then just the trekking and mountains whcih Nepal is famous for. If you do a trek in Nepal ask first for Chandan Magar and you know your money is well spent! Sujan, who booked the tour and everything else for us in Kathmandu, was also not only a great professional but a good friend to have when overseas and far from home. All in all what else can I say other then that I cannot wait to do this all again in future!

I am glad to say that I did the Dolpo after a few friends recommended me. Booking with the operator was an easy process and they replied to all my queries on email instantly. I didn't know what to do and when they suggested that I do this trek based on my interest, I blindly trusted them on this tour. And I should say, I made no mistake with that. My guide was informative and responsive to all my needs and wellness. Everything went beyond my expectation right from the moment I was given a warm welcome in the airport until the time I got back home.
