Venture into Nepal’s wild and less-trodden territories with the "Manaslu Circuit Trek: Nineteen Days," a challenging journey crafted for intrepid young adults and seasoned trekkers. This guided trek circles the world’s eighth highest mountain, crossing the dramatic Larkya La Pass at 5,100 meters. Traverse remote villages like Soti Khola and Jagat, scale rugged cliffs above the Budhi Gandaki River, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of the region’s Brahmin settlements. The USP? Manaslu’s relative solitude—opened to foreigners only in 1991, it remains a quieter alternative to Nepal’s busier trails. With steep ascents and precarious paths, this trek is best suited for experienced hikers seeking both adventure and rare wilderness.

day 1 - Kathmandu arrival

Meet our representative on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel in the city. You are free for the rest of the day after checking in. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

day 2 - Kathmandu sightseeing tour

Attend a trip orientation meeting after breakfast and leave your hotel for a full-day, guided sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the epicentre of religious and cultural life in the city and an area filled with old temples of historical significance. Learn more about the beautiful Newar architecture that you will see in and around the durbar square.

Other destinations that you will see today are the Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, as well as Boudhanath, a Buddhist stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.

day 3 - Kathmandu – Arughat Bazaar

Leave Kathmandu behind and head for Arughat Bazaar, a market town in Gorkha district bisected by the Budhi Gandaki River. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

day 4 - Arughat Bazaar – Soti Khola

Start the trek from Arughat. Cross the bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River. Walk through fields of rice and millet to reach Maltar. The trail becomes more difficult after Sante Bazaar as it crosses the suspension bridge over Arkhet Khola. Climb through fields and descend to a high, cascading waterfall to make a long, steep slog up a ridge to Kyopani, a small Magar and Gurung village.

Your journey comes to an end on reaching Soti Khola. Stay overnight in a tented camp.
