    The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!

    Me and my daughter traveled to Nepal and chose Mardi Himal trek. I’m an active 60 years lady. This trek was hard sometimes but we had enough time to go slowly and enjoy the view, take photos, have tea and coffee with Mountain View. Mardi Himal trek is new but amazing. After Mardi we did Poon Hill trek because we had time and wanted to continue the adventure. It was a great trek to see local villages, rivers, forests. We also had the best tour guide Ramesh. Thank you, my friend for being such a professional and caring tour guide.

    Absolutely loved this trek! I did it in January with a friend and honestly thought it was amazing. Even though it was their winter, it meant that the trek was less busy, the days were warm and the local operator provided us with a warm sleeping bag and down jacket.     Although I wanted something off the beaten path, I worried this route might not be challenging enough. But I instantly realized this would be a worthy adventure with the warmest hospitality. The trails are generally good, but you should know that the whole trip is generally straight up and down. Make sure you have walking sticks and if youre not used to hiking for several days with a pack you should consider hire a porter to carry your pack.

    This trek was a perfect choice for a first introduction to the Himalayas and was great for a schedule that included more sightseeing around Nepal. My guide Dipak was very knowledgeable and flexible being able to cater the trip and make changes to improve as we went. He was also accommodating outside of the trek making sure I was taken good care of and had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to do trekking in Nepal
