When it comes to organizing an adventure-packed trip to the Everest Base Camp and beyond, this local travel specialist stands out as a reliable and efficient choice. From start to finish, they ensured that every aspect of the journey was well taken care of, leaving us with nothing but positive memories.
The Everest Base Camp Trek, which served as a warm-up before climbing Lobuche East Peak, was an exciting and fulfilling experience in itself. The trek allowed us to gradually acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy stunning landscapes along the way. The climb to Kala Patthar provided a unique perspective, as we descended into the valley from EBC, further aiding our acclimatization process while marveling at the breathtaking scenery.
However, it was the climb to Lobuche East Peak that truly tested our limits. The steepness of the peak presented a challenge, but thanks to the expertise of our climbing guide, who skillfully fixed ropes and offered guidance, we were able to conquer it without too much difficulty. The sense of achievement upon reaching the top was immeasurable and made all the hard work worthwhile.
Our experience with this agency was nothing short of exceptional. If you're seeking a well-organized and thrilling trekking experience in the Everest region, they should be at the top of your list.
TREKKING HOLIDAY: Take in the highlights of Nepal and enjoy a wonderfully varied and easy-paced 6-day trek through the stunning Annapurna region. Marvel at the spectacular, unobstructed views of the High Himalayas from Poon Hill and experience Nepali mountain village life. Explore the Kathmandu Valley, visiting beautiful ancient temples, palaces and bustling markets. Go in search of wildlife on safari in Chitwan National Park, looking out for elephants, rhinos, leopards and tigers. Take a boat ride on picturesque Lake Phewa in Pokhara and visit a monastery to see the monks at prayer. Topped it off with an optional Everest scenic flight, this is the best of Nepal in 13-days.
Overall a GREAT trip away in Nepal. Our WE Guide from Nepal (Rishi) was absolutely fantastic, together with all our guides, porters, cook and drivers. What an adventure we had, hard, some days extremely difficult for those of us over 60+, but well worth the pain and suffering....we just suffered together!
My EBC trip was perfectly planned. First of all, I want to thank Mr. Gokul, my guide Kali, and Amita from operations a million times. The guesthouses I stayed in were warm and clean. My guide Kali was always kind and supportive. I’m very excited for my ABC trip this year—hope to see you again soon!
Embark on an unforgettable 19-day adventure into the heights of the Himalayas, and earn the right to say you've conquered the challenge of reaching Everest Base Camp. Fly into Lukla from Kathmandu, then hit the trails of Sagarmatha National Park. Explore the mountains and valleys around the towering peak, rest in teahouses and take the path less travelled into the stunning Gokyo Lakes region. Then, it’s upwards and onwards to Base Camp, sitting a cool 5364 m above sea level. With the help of your expert leader you’ll learn about Nepalese culture as you go, and you’ll feel the support of your like-minded travellers.

I had a wonderful adventure to the top of the World. At 66 and fit, I would recommend this to everybody. The Exodus team were wonderful and the whole party got to base camp.
Many thanks to mosaic adventure, we had a very challenging and adventurous experience hiking through the beautiful mountains. Not sure I would do the tour of Kathmandu next time tho as it took up most of the day, but was very informative.
Base Camp. Two little syllables that conjure up dreams as immense and powerful as the Himalayas themselves. This 15-day trekking trip is your chance to take on the challenge of reaching the mountaineer's base camp and gain an insight into the world-renowned Sherpa culture. You’ll cross glaciers and broad plains, traverse valleys and climb high passes – discovering both the majesty of the mountains and your own potential. Embrace the sense of freedom that comes with leaving cell service behind for card games in basic (but cosy) teahouses. Plus, Intrepid partners with local mountaineering and porter welfare programs, so you can trek easier knowing that while our porters are taking care of you, there’s someone looking out for them. This is a challenging trip and involves difficult trekking at high altitudes, but the whole experience can summed up in two syllables – worth it.

My partner and I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek and I am 100% confident they are the best company available. From start to finish they were there for our every need.
During our time in Kathmandu, the agency representative was always at the hotel in person, greeting us with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Before our arrival he was always on hand by email and replied almost instantly to every single question or query I sent him, even with the significant time difference between UK and Nepal. I really don't know how he does it.
Our guide during the trek was an absolute pro and was always on hand to answer questions or organize meals, permits or any other need we might have. His knowledge of the Everest region and how to navigate it physically was second to none and it was apparent by the many other guides and porters who stopped to greet him that he is a very experienced and well respected member of the trekking community.
A special thanks to the porters in our team, who powered up the trail every day carrying close to 40kg each. Never complaining and never without a smile or a fist bump. They arranged our meals in the evening and came along on acclimatization days.
Our group of 3 made it to Everest Base Camp. Many did not. I am certain this came down to the expert guidance and support given by the team. Should I ever return to undertake another adventure, it will be with this team.
All of the porters, Ganesh, Yam, and Tek was amazing. They made our trek awesome and it was hard to say goodbye. We all had a really good time together. They were genuine, fun, helpful. At one point Tek needed to walk behind with a guy that had knee pain and Yam took great care of the group with safety, humor and interesting stories about our surroundings
