Excellent experience with our guide and porters. They were able to accommodate quick changes in our plans when some of our members showed symptoms of AMS. They are also some of the fittest people I have ever met and are kind and entertaining at the same time. It was a pleasure to learn about their culture. If you ever get the opportunity, see if you can learn and play Baghchal.
As an experienced hiker, I can confidently say that the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a must-do for any outdoor enthusiast. The trail was well-maintained and the scenery was out of this world. Just make sure to pack enough warm layers for those chilly nights!

The trek was excellent although tough in the short timescale but I wanted the challenge. For others make sure youre happy with the non acclimatisation days, I had the full information and I chose to take the shorter trek. Off season in January although cold was a great time to trek as far less people on the trail as I hear spring time is just to hectic. Even in the winter you get warm during the daytime treking.

This Langtang Valley Trek is a trek to the beautiful Langtang Valley discovering its hidden majestic beauty. This trek to Langtang is the closest hiking trail to the Himalayas from the Kathmandu city.
The valley is also considered ’Valley of Glaciers’ with some of the beautiful glaciers located inside the Langtang region. Hit the trail for Namche Bazaar and continue your journey to the Gokyo Valley via Dole and Machhermo to reach the Gokyo Lakes. Explore the glistening bodies of water and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas from Gokyo Ri before heading back to Lungden via the Renjo La Pass. Then continue your downhill journey via Thame and Namche to reach Lukla, from where you will catch your flight home.
The Gokyo Valley is home to six glacial lakes that hold special significance to both Hindus and Buddhists. It is also known for Gokyo Ri (5,357m), which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Although not as well known as Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, the views of Mount Everest from Gokyo Ri are said to surpass those from Kala Patthar.
