This was to be my third trip to the Himalayas, the last being the Annapurna Circuit in 2006 (before road building started on the circuit). I was looking for something different this time, a remote camping based trek off the beaten track and away from the relatively crowded paths and overstretched teahouses of Annapurna and Everest Base Camp. Going valley in the morning over 4000m was severe coldness in winter because no sunshine due to surrounding mountains and wind. (Dingboche to Lobche)
It might be better to add 1 more layer, considering the weather.
Since a bit earlier than year end holiday, I could spend more quiet time.
On the way to back, I met more people who were going up.
Mr Bibek, the guide was knowledgeable and explained the mountains.
He was good advisor also for health conditions but you should know yourself first.

I wanna tell you about our super fun time on the Manaslu circuit. The views were amazing, and the paths were quiet. We saw different things, like pretty rhododendron forests and big snowy peaks. Our guide, knew a lot and helped us understand the people and nature there. He made sure everyone in our group had a good time, no matter how much hiking they did before. They told us about the trip on the first night, and they took us for a yummy dinner with dancing in Kathmandu. They took really good care of us, and if you want to have a cool adventure, I totally say go with them to explore Manaslu. It's like a hidden treasure waiting for you!
Super trip covering Everest Base Camp but also several other high passes which are not on that heavily traveled route. Highly recommended if you want a more intimate experience.

We did the 4-day Kathmandu valley trek and it was one of the most indelible and life-changing experiences. The trek encompasses so much more than just the view itself (which is ethereal!) -- you get to meet and interact with locals that would welcome you to take a basum (a break) on their porch, taste authentic Nepali cuisines, and maybe even pick up a few Nepali phrases. The company did a wonderful job communicating with us and catering to our questions and concerns throughout the trip. Big shoutout to our guide Bibek for being literally the best Dai/teacher one could ask for!
