day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Upon your arrival at the airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Later in the day, there will be a meeting with our Travel Max Guide (TMG) staff where you'll receive a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming trip, including introductions and details about the itinerary.

day 2 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

Today, our Travel Max Guide (TMG) staff will pick you up and take you on a Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour in a private vehicle. Your knowledgeable TMG tour guide will provide insights and information as you explore prominent cultural sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple). Get ready to immerse yourself in Nepal's rich history and heritage.

day 3 - Fly to Taplejung (2420m) and trek to Mitlung (890m)

After departing from Kathmandu domestic airport, we board a flight to Suketar airport in Taplejung. The flight treats us to breathtaking aerial views of the valleys and landscapes below. Upon landing in Suketar, we commence our trek with a descent towards the Tamor River. This majestic river flows from the northern mountains, eventually joining the Ganges River.

As we follow the course of the Tamor River further upstream, we pass through a forested area before reaching the village of Mitlung, which is home to the Chhetri people. Here, we'll spend the night and rest for the adventures ahead.
