The jungle experience was brilliant. Being surrounded by so much nature and wildlife was a lot of fun. Everyone in Sauraha was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel I stayed at was lovely, with delicious food and a comfortable, spacious room with a great shower. I didn't enjoy seeing so many captive elephants as they looked really sad but I was given the option to not go on the elephant ride so I got an extra jeep safari experience which I enjoyed. I really loved the canoe experience too.

What do you say travelers? I leave here my review of the second visit to Nepal, a country that I love. As I said, it is my second visit to this beautiful country, the previous one was combined with a visit to Tibet, so I did not have the time necessary to explore it, do trekking and other activities. For this long stay and long trip through the mountains, exploring the lost Kingdom of Mustang and reaching the Terai, I chose this local travel specialist, which I had already met on my previous trip, in the person of its manager and owner Gokul Sapkota. If you only speak Spanish, you are in perfect hands here, he speaks Spanish very well and he has guides like “Siri” who speak it almost perfectly. Good guide service, your hotel is comfortable, with excellent staff, the guys there are very friendly, everything is well cleaned, the breakfast is good, they organize everything for you, Gokul is attentive to the service all day long, checking if everything is Well, if the guides are good, if the driver (what a good driver, we have traveled hundreds of kilometers on those impossible routes) and everything went in the best way, yyyy look, you have to drive there!!! I take off my hat.
We have done as much activity as we wanted, we trekked to Namche Bazar, we are grown people, Claudia had never trekked in the mountains, and what a debut!! Landing in Lukla is an unusual experience, “Raj” was waiting for us there. If you go to Lukla, look for this guide, his name is Tek Raj Tamang, he does not speak Spanish but he does speak perfect English, a very friendly, kind, polite young man, with a desire to serve the customer worth mentioning. Wow, he is patient, Claudia loves him for her help and collaboration, for her getting to Namche meant an enormous effort and with Raj's help she achieved it, we cried with emotion when we arrived at that beautiful place. If you read this, thank you very much Raj for such a beautiful shared experience. We will never forget returning to “Surket” in that torrential rain to take the helicopter. Well the helicopter flight was fantastic. From there we went with “Siri”, another exceptional guide, who speaks perfect Spanish, for part of the trip Gokul, the owner, accompanied us to the “Lost Kingdom of Mustang” at the other end of Nepal, a fantastic place, very similar to my land here in Patagonia. Argentina. An entire flight itinerary to Pokhara, from there by vehicle, with unforgettable experiences, sharing cuisine in the homes of locals, towns in the middle of that distance, monasteries, there was nothing left to see and learn about the local culture. From there we went to the other end, The Terai with the Indian border, Lumbini. To visit Budha and accomplish something very personal with Claudia. As you can see, we have gone around Nepal in 30 days of travel, everything turned out fantastic, a trip with capital letters. All the services offered were fulfilled, and those that were not were due to major reasons such as the weather, it was monsoon season, so difficulties arose that were resolved in an excellent way, looking for alternatives, other means of travel, additional meals, stays unscheduled, first-class care. We travel to get to know the culture, visit beautiful places, be in contact with people, we do not look for luxuries, but a very good personalized attention service, we do not travel in groups because we do not like it, we do it alone and we look for this kind of attention provided , which I reiterate was excellent to complete our trip. Maybe sometime we will hike Thamel again and visit these friends and hike with “Raj” around the base of Everest.
If you travel there ask for “Raj” and “Siri” (if you need to speak Spanish), they will not disappoint you. Good trip friends!!!

Molt recomanat!! D'entrada perquè en Gokul i alguns dels seus treballadors parlen molt bé el castellà i ens han ajudat amb totes les barreres lingüístiques que teníem tant a dins com a fora de l'hotel i en les visites/excursions.
En Gokul i el seu Staff són encantadors. Tenen un hotel que està situat en una zona molt cèntrica a prop de Thamel i de la parada de busos per anar a Pokhara/Chitwan.
L'espai és molt bonic i tranquil. Les habitacions són molt còmodes. I ens ha agradat molt en relació qualitat preu.
Ens han ajudat amb tot el que ens feia falta. Les excursions i visites guiades eren planejades per l'agència d'en Gokul i han estat una experiència increïble. El guía (en Siri) ens ha explicat fins l'últim detall de les històries de la ciutat. I l'excursió a Chitwan que ens ha planejat en Gokul ha estat una passada! Dues nits increïbles en una mena de resort amb piscina (molt bo qualitat preu) per viure l'experiència plena del safari i altres activitats en el Parc Natural.
En definitiva, en Gokul i el seu Staff ens han permès viure l'experiència nepalí en plena essència!

Our recent trip to Nepal was incredible. This would not have been possible without the head office team led by Prem Khatry. As CEO and founder, Prem is both an entrepreneur and compassionate community leader. His team's attention to detail was key to our trip. Upon our initial visit with him in Nepal he assessed our needs and quickly suggested we do the ultralight flight in Pokhara, which of course, we knew nothing about - and it turned out to a major highlight of our Nepal visit. This chap Prem, raised in the mountains of Gorkha, knows his stuff.
Our pick for guide of the year - is the guide that truly made our entire trip special - Dill Tamang. Having been involved in this sector for many years his immense knowledge flows out of him as you walk through magical Nepal with your mouth wide open. Dill, who himself was born in a remote village in Nepal showed us the incredible beauty of Nepal in so many ways. He understood us within the first day. A highlight was Dill searching out the Guru Rinpoche Cave for us even though it was not on the original tour - he made it happen.

Although I wanted something off the beaten path, I worried this route might not be challenging enough. But I instantly realized this would be a worthy adventure with the warmest hospitality.
The trails are generally good, but you should know that the whole trip is generally straight up and down. Make sure you have walking sticks and if youre not used to hiking for several days with a pack you should consider hire a porter to carry your pack.
