An excellent trip even though we could not complete the circuit because of the disaster on the Thorong La pass. My and I am sure the rest of the groups thoughts are with the families and friends of those who died or were injured in the storm.
Never take guides but this time Nepali government forced me to. Me and my colleague from another realm was given experienced commander Kumar with many extraordinary skills including searching, tracking, pathfinding. When you barely see some movement in the forest he already knows this is gray langur female 10 years old, 12 kg, well fed with one infant posing no threat to us. On the trip we definitely saw and experienced more than we expected. Since then we decided to always take a guide in Nepal.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek will take you into the heart of the Annapurna range. The entire area is protected within the 7,629 sq km Annapurna Conservation Area, the first and largest conservation area in Nepal.

Lastly, you will gain a unique insight into Nepalese life and its culture as we overnight in beautiful hillside villages.
The trek to Annapurna Base Camp begins after a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. We will walk through Ghandruk, Sinuwa, Deurali and finally reach the base camp of Annapurna, and thereafter and return through the valley to Pokhara.
Annapurna base camp is located in the lap of Annapurna South which has a perfect Majestic view of the Annapurna region and Mt. Fishtail - a mountain renowned for its beauty. The trail revert down to the valley at Jhinu hot spring where you have the opportunity for a hot and well-earned bath. From Nayapul we will take a short drive to Pokhara which will be the last ending station of this trek, before we go back to Kathmandu, where it all began.
Although Annapurna Base Camp leads you into the heart of the mighty Himalaya, the trekking itself presents no major difficulties and can be undertaken by enthusiastic people who are used to walking.
We Just finished our 5-day trek to Poon Hill Trekking. our guide, Raman was super helpful and made everything as comfortable as possible on the mountain.
Mr. Laxman Aryal company owner did excellent work. The tour company provided us best service we had a really wonderful experience. We will trek with them again and absolutely recommend others to choose them for their Service .
An adventure sports tour in Nepal was one of my favorite trips of all time. We had a great time and an unforgettable trip The tour company provided excellent service and everything was well organized. The information and the knowledge that we got during our stay were the best and full of details. Everything was arranged perfectly, and I did not have to worry about anything from our stay to the places we visited. Amazing experience and an amazing guide. An excellent trip, looking forward to another, perhaps next year.
This was to be my third trip to the Himalayas, the last being the Annapurna Circuit in 2006 (before road building started on the circuit). I was looking for something different this time, a remote camping based trek off the beaten track and away from the relatively crowded paths and overstretched teahouses of Annapurna and Everest Base Camp. Manalsu more than met my expectations.
The trip was perfect! I really recommend it for panish peaple cause you can speak spanish. Kumar was our guide and he is a very nice person! We are very grateful to have him on our trip, he helped us with all we needed!!🙏🏽
I am thrilled to share my experience of the amazing Gokyo Valley Trek. This journey was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, every moment was filled with adventure, breathtaking views, and a sense of accomplishment.
Our guide, a true gem, added an extra layer of excitement to the entire trek. Not only was he knowledgeable and experienced, but he also had a fantastic personality that made the journey even more enjoyable. His ability to connect with each trekker individually and provide insightful information about the surroundings was truly commendable. He made sure we were well-informed about the route, local culture, and any potential challenges we might face along the way.
The trek itself was a perfect blend of fun and challenge. The trails took us through picturesque landscapes, allowing us to witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the Gokyo Valley. Each step brought us closer to the basecamp, and the anticipation grew with every passing day.
Undoubtedly, reaching the basecamp was the ultimate reward. Standing amidst the majestic mountains, surrounded by pristine snow-capped peaks, was an experience beyond words. The sense of achievement and the overwhelming beauty of the surroundings left us in awe. It was a moment that will forever be etched in my memory.
I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure. The Gokyo Valley Trek offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, physical challenge, and a sense of accomplishment. Whether you are a seasoned trekker or a novice, this journey will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

We have just returned from a trip to Everest Base Camp (over 55's in comfort - 12 April to 2 May). We loved it! Our group Guide, Tshering, Assistant Guide, Santosh and Sirdar, Rajan together with the "boys" (4 strong boys, cook and assistant cook) were wonderful, they were hard working and reliable. Friendly, helpful, informative, calm and encouraging. We were all over 60! 5 out of 7 got the Khumbu cough! Only one person showed any signs of altitude sickness and the length of the trip certainly helped acclimatise. Tshering made sure we received adequate medical advice and assistant if required. We all made it to EBC and certainly the longer trip, sensible acclimatisation and slow pace helped with this achievement. I'm still feeling proud. Whilst we were probably the most experienced hikers in our group, we had a member who had no trekking experience or etiquette in our group but we worked as a team and walked to the ability of the slowest. How wonderful it was to sit down at the end of each day knowing a drink, food, bed and warm dining room were all there waiting for us. Meals were tasty and enough offered for everyone, Santosh always on hand to offer us seconds. I almost always cleaned my plate! My favourites were the soups, porridge, potatoes, paratha's and chapati's, lentil dhal - always some veggies, all cooked expertly on a gas/kero stove. It was so reassuring to know we could eat and drink without fear of stomach issues which would have made the arduous trek even tougher! Yep, WE itinerary and experience showed and we would not hesitate in booking another trip in Nepal with WE. The contingency plan to get us back to Kathmandu by helicopter in time to catch international flights was well managed and executed. ****** Thanks all round to the team and ground staff in Nepal! P.S. the water bottles with hot water at bedtime to pop inside our sleeping bags - the best idea ever!
Makalu Base Camp Trekking takes about two weeks. The fifth highest mountain in the world, Mount Makalu lies at an elevation of 8463 m. It is situated in the Makalu Barun National Park, which covers an area of 2330 sq. km extending around the Solukhumbu and Sankhuwasabha districts of Nepal. And, the panorama of the highest mountain in the world such as Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Chamlang, Makalu and other mountains greets you. Makalu base camp trek can be fairly challenging in some parts depending upon your level of physical fitness. The outstanding scenery of Makalu Base Camp Trek’s route significantly provides unique cultural heritage and incredible views of mountain peaks. From Makalu Base Camp there are spectacular views of the rarely seen Kangshung face of Everest, as well as Lhotse, Chamlang, and Kanchenjunga in the far east.
The AP mini circuit has to be considered as a viable alternative to the full circuit(which I have not done) - if you have a fortnight and are confident of your trekking abilities, you will get all the thrill of the trek up the Valley and over the 5416m pass , a descent through the incredible Mustang valley on the other side followed by a memorable flight past the AP range back to Pokhara .
