I still can’t believe I had dinner overlooking the lake with palace lights glowing in the background.
The accommodations were mid-range but charming: clean, comfortable, and often located in beautiful heritage properties. Our driver was fantastic, and our guide brought the history alive without being boring or overwhelming. He was also really approachable and made sure everyone in the group felt included.
