This tour was a welcome change from the fast paced touring of the big cities. We became familiar with the topography and vegetation as we hiked daily, also visiting towns known for wines and cheeses. The town of Chianciano provided a magnificent backdrop to our accomodation of Agriturismo La Pietriccia. We were awakened every morning to the rooster crowing. Stefano was an attentive and knowledgeable host. Plenty of food was served at the 4 course suppers. I feel this tour was necessary to complete my knowledge of the culture of Italy!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our recent Expat explore tour "Europe Escape", from 01 - 12 Dec 2024. The tour started and ended in Rome, we were given a good appreciation of both the City and quaint little town along the route which took us to Venice, Tuscany, Florence, Múnich, Rhine Valley, Ámsterdam, Ghent, Paris, Burgandy, Beaune, Montmatre, Lake Como, Rome, the Swiss Alps!!
Oh wow! This was such an amazing trip! Our guide, Roma was so knowledgeable and made it even more exciting with her bubbly personality, and our bus driver, Ishti made us feel so safe on the roads...they were truly awesome! I know that keeping a large group together is no easy feat, but they made us feel like family. They shared very helpful tips about the local places, information that you would not normally know as a tourist. Oh! and we were given these cute little passports and stamps to mark the places as we visited them through the tour...this was a really great idea!

I was a single traveler looking to explore Europe and this tour exceeded my expectations! You certainly get bang for your buck. 16 countries (I vent to Vatican and Andorra on my free days) over 35 cities/towns and countless attractions! Several ticks were certainly made off my bucket list. I would recommend this tour if you are looking to meet people from all across the world and learn about cultures not just to the countries you'll go but also from each other. Brace yourself for lengthy bus rides broken up site seeing and attractions along the way. What better way to explore Europe than the scenic route! Go for it and happy travels! The overall tour was wonderful. One of my favorite parts was our visit to Krk. I'm not sure why, it just drew me in. But all of our ports were great.
Siri was a great tour manager/guide. She was fun and personable.
