day 1 - Arrive in Rome & Rome Hop-On Hop-Off ticket
Welcome to Rome! Upon your arrival at the airport, your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel, with the transfer included. You'll have access to a daily Hop-On Hop-Off ticket, allowing you to explore Rome aboard the Gray Line's Open-Top buses. This unique vantage point offers breathtaking views of the city's most famous landmarks. Simply board the bus, relax, and listen to the informative audio commentary available in 12 languages. You can hop on and off at any of the eight designated stops along the route. The ticket included in your package is valid for one day. Enjoy your evening at your leisure, then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
day 2 - Discover Assisi & travel to Florence
Start your journey with a pickup at 7:15 am from your hotel by a deluxe coach. We will take you to Assisi, which you can explore at your own leisure. This tiny town is surrounded by walls that were built in the Middle Ages. Take your time to visit the Basilica of Saint Francis, where you will see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. You have free time for lunch after that (lunch is not included).
Then board a bus to Siena, a Unesco World Heritage site famous for the Palio, the historical horse race around Siena's shell-shaped town square: Piazza del Campo. Next, you will continue on to Florence, where you will check in at your hotel before enjoying dinner and a well-earned night of rest.
Please note: *Starting from the departure on 30ᵗʰ March 2026, instead of dinner at the hotel in Florence, there will be a lunch in Assisi
day 3 - Beautiful Florence
Spend the day venturing around beautiful Florence, the 'Cradle of Renaissance', after breakfast. This is where, with the help of Michelangelo, Italian art reached its pinnacle. The city flourished in the Middle Ages and became further refined during the Renaissance.
Be fascinated by Florence's monuments, churches and buildings such as Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as the Duomo. Cross a small piazza to see Giotto's Bell Tower and the baptistery where Michelangelo imagined the 'Gates of Paradise'. In the heart of the city, you will see Palazzo della Signoria (also known as Palazzo Vecchio) and the Basilica of Santa Croce.
Enjoy your lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional).
day 4 - Florence to Venice via Bologna & Padua
Head for Bologna after breakfast. Discover its elegant city center with its porticos, shopping streets and so on. Walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore and see the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest in the world.
Continue your journey to Padova, home to Sant’Antonio Basilica, in the afternoon. Call it a day on reaching Venice.

After enjoying a delightful breakfast in Florence, we head to the elegant city of Bologna. Upon arrival, the charming city center, adorned with its iconic porticoes, invites you to explore during your free time. Begin your walking tour at Piazza Malpighi, leading to the city's heart at Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore. Here, you can admire the historic Palazzo Podestà and the Basilica of San Petronio, the largest Gothic church in the world built with bricks. We’ll then reveal why Bologna is often regarded as Italy's gastronomic capital as you dive into its vibrant street food scene, which is as rich and diverse as its culinary heritage. Strolling through the city’s medieval streets, you'll come across an enticing array of food stalls and markets, each offering a tempting selection of traditional and contemporary delicacies. As you explore the charming alleys and lively piazzas, you’ll embark on a culinary adventure that goes far beyond just a meal. With a light street food lunch experience at a local eatery, you’ll have the chance to savor the authentic flavors and unique dishes that define Bologna’s renowned gastronomic identity. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Venice (Mestre). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.
day 5 - Venice: Piazza San Marco & Palazzo dei Dogi
Transfer to Piazza San Marco after breakfast and visit the most iconic places of this 'floating city': Palazzo dei Dogi. See the legendary Bridge of Sighs. After this walking tour, let us offer you a spritz or a prosecco to crown your visit to this city in the company of your tour leader. Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure before returning to the hotel.
day 6 - Venice to Rome via Montepulciano
Leave Venice for Tuscany, known all over the world for its landscapes, churches, castles and its delicious wines. You will proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town rich in history and art. Have lunch in a typical restaurant (included) and enjoy some free time before heading to Rome.
day 7 - Rome - Vatican Museums - “Skip the Line”
Breakfast at the hotel and between 7:45/8:00 am, departure from the hotel for the included tour of the Vatican Museums with our exclusive “Skip the Line” access! No stress to reach the area: upon arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums where you’ll visit one of the most important art collections in the world. Walk along the beautiful Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps. visit to the Pio Clementino Museum, the Library, and the Momo Staircase and explanation of St Peter's square with focus on the Conclave ancient rules and traditions.
After this incredible masterpiece, you will exit the museums and head to St. Peter’s Basilica. You’ll have the chance to admire the stunning exterior of the biggest church in the world. The tour ends in St. Peter’s Square. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the city at your own leisure. Overnight stay. (B)

According to your flight departure time, you will be transferred to the airport in Rome. Please let us know if you want to book an optional extra night.
