My husband and I had an amazing day. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone who comes to visit Iceland. Travelling by mini bus is much more convenient. We were picked up in time from the hotel we agreed on as we stayed at a different place. One of the highlights of the tour was our amazing guide Fannar. He was very informative, knowledgeable , fun and a very good driver. He brought us home safely. If you book this tour you will definitely get value for your money.

SUMMER TOUR: Explore the best that Iceland has to offer on this 12-day summer tour around the country. From lava fields to magnificent fjords, you will begin with Iceland's Golden Circle. Highlights include UNESCO heritage-listed Thingvellir National Park, a journey into an underground lava cave tube, whale watching along Eyjafjordur, Iceland's longest fjord and a soak in a geothermal float pool.
Siggy was the kindest, most knowledgeable, most helpful tour guide. He knew Iceland and was kind and thoughtful to his customers. He stopped for bathroom breaks, made suggestions, asked our opinions and was so enjoyable. I would recommend him and this tour. We saw so much. Even though the tour started late we saw all the itinerary and more! One bonus was stopping to see a roundup of horses on the peninsula.
This unique expedition combines both glacier hiking and ice climbing. If you want to experience one of the natural wonders of the blue ice while working out, this is the perfect adventure for you!
You will meet your experienced guide at Skaftafell Information Centre Parking lot and from there you will be driven to the root of Svínafellsjökull, which is an outlet glacier of the Vatnajökull Ice Cap. The glacier is a part of the tallest mountain range in Iceland, and the highest peak in the country, Hvannadalshnúkur is easily seen from the glacier in a clear sky.
Before stepping on the ice, your guide will gear you up and provide you with the necessary safety equipment needed for this glacier expedition and teach you how it’s used.
During the glacier walk, you will be exploring the breathtaking ice formations and moulins while learning how they are formed and constantly change. You will also be able to attempt to conquer gravity when you get the chance to climb up the ice walls with ice axes and crampons. You will be in the safe hands of our experienced guides who will make sure the experience will be both safe and enjoyable, giving you instructions on the technical aspects of ice climbing through a step by step approach.
Never been on a glacier walk before? Never used crampons or ice axe? No worries! Experienced guides will teach you all you need to know and have you walking safely on the glacier in no time. Safety equipment and briefings are provided before each tour. Nature is best experienced free of worries!
Make sure you sign up for this unforgettable experience. Let yourself be amazed by the breathtaking scenery while getting to know Svínafellsjökull Glacier, up close and personal.
The Golden Circle includes the greatest tourist attractions in Iceland, covering about 300 km looping from Reykjavík into central Iceland and back.
Thingvellir landmark connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It’s also considered the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge.
Friðheimar farm and greenhouse will welcome you and introduce you to the Icelandic horse and locally grown tomatoes. Lunch (at your own expense) will be held in the greenhouse where you will have the possibility to purchase local products on the menu after a visit of the stables.
Kerið is a striking crater-lake filled with milky blue-green water amid stark black and deep red slopes. Geologists now believe it to be a collapsed magma chamber at the end of a volcanic eruption that occurred more than 6,000 years ago.
Another amazing stop will be done at Gullfoss Waterfall. Its impressive shape will take your breath away!
Of course, we are always prepared for an extra stop or photo ops along the way. And if we’re lucky, we’ll get to pull over to feed any Icelandic horses at the side of the road.
Group size: max. 18 guests, providing a more intimate experience, more flexibility, more free time and more spontaneous encounters than travelling in big groups.
