We booked a 7 day trip with U-Tracks, with the ultimate goal of summiting Gran Paradiso. We were a group of 11 work colleagues who annually take on a charity event with this being the selected even this year. I must admit the trip was spectacular. the 6 day 'approach' to gran paradiso was varied in the way of physical challenge and then scenery. our guide - max was first class. he was able to assess the group and maintained a superb pace to keep us all moving. this was the first time we had taken on something as demanding as this (the final day in particular). The last day summit of gran paradiso was physically challenging but not technically (the very final summit section becomes technical but very well managed). the whole trip was fantastic from start to finish. I would 100% recommend and use again.

Explore France’s vibrant heart and the legendary Black Forest over 15 days with the 'French Passion and the Black Forest' tour. This easy-paced group sightseeing journey, starting and ending in Paris, includes all the comforts seniors seek: hotels, meals, and transportation. The tour’s unique appeal is its extended duration, allowing for a deeper, more leisurely immersion into French and German culture.
Overall the trip was wonderful, and the itinerary and the places we visited were excellent. The included castles, boat, waterfalls and other activities were also great. Logistics was arranged perfectly. Some things for Europamundo to consider:
1. Your Spanish guide speaks for 40 minutes, but leaving the English speaking guide only 5 minutes before arriving to a place. This happened more than once, and specifically with Jonatas Chavery. Overall Spanish speaking passengers were a clear priority over English speaking passengers throughout the trip. We are grateful for the English speaking guides that EuropaMundo provided. Please tell the Spanish speaking guides to give EQUAL time in explaining on the bus. Alberto was excellent and translated immediately to English, so that everyone was engaged, and equal time was spent English/Spanish.
2. We are disappointed the EuropaMundo allows babies on the bus, and that babies are allowed to sit at the front instead of at the last seat in the back of the bus. They are annoying to everyone.
3. We had so many tour guides changes and buses that we did not even have a chance to appreciate them with a tip. Some drivers like Lyon – Tournus were very rude to us and complaint about having to lift the suitcases.
4. All buses should have charging capabilities and wifi. Only one bus had wifi
5. Guides should be instructed to have a comfort stop after each 1 ½ hours of travel. It is unreasonable to expect humans to travel 3 plus hours without a comfort stop.
6. The hotels this time were not as good as usually like is Spain. They were all very clean but IBIS was a disappointment and APPARTCITY was just ok. Breakfast was always excellent.
7. To the smoking guides, they should not smoke while they are talking to us and walking with us drop us. As soon as they drop us, they can smoke as much as they want. We do not need or want to inhale their smelly cigarettes. They also come on the bus smelling like an ashtray.
8. Comments concerning special locations: It was not enough al all 1 hour at Savigny Castle. We were not able to see the magnificent collections. Would be better to allow 1 ½ hours and remove that time from Beaune. You can also remove completely Freiburg and allow more time in Strasbourg or in Triberg. We never got to see Baden Baden or Marseille, we only slept there. Marseille hotel was excellent.
Overall this is my third trip with EuropaMundo and I hope to travel again without babies.

Kalliste. The most beautiful. The ancient Greeks used this name to talk about the allure of Corsica, a veritable heaven on earth that seems to have every wonder of the world on its shores or in its hills. Join us on a cruise to discover the kaleidoscope of blue in the sea waters and the fresh mountain air in the peaks.
Walk the southern half of the the most challenging long distance walking trail in Europe, the GR20. The southern section of the GR20 is considered slightly less challenging than the northern route, however the landscapes are equally stunning. During the 6 days of hiking you will gain an appreciation for the rural communities who live in the region and the rugged wilderness that characterises the route. Your main luggage is transferred, allowing you to walk with just a day pack. From the forest of Vizzavona to the Needles of Bavella and on to Conca, the full GR20 experience is encapsulated in the daily views ranging from alpine meadows where sheep graze, to views to the sea as far as the Italian island of Sardinia. The sixth day is the longest on the GR20 if you take the upper route, and your legs will remember it long after you have left Corsica but the satisfaction of completing this section of this epic walk makes it all worthwhile. On arrival in Conca you can celebrate at the sign marking the end of the GR20!
Note: for safety reasons this trip can not be operated for one person / solo traveller. Minimum two people are required.

A classic walk through the old Armagnac region and the Gers with its landscape dotted with bullrings, bastides and castles interspersed with fields of sunflowers and corn. Traverse the centuries of time and the borders of Europe on the medieval pilgrim trail. In the 9th century, the tomb of the apostle St James was unearthed in Compostela. The site became the focus of a pilgrim trail beginning in France, and crossing northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela. This journey, along the Via Podiensis, the French Way of St James, takes pilgrims from Le Puy en Velay to the Pyrenees at St Jean Pied de Port. The route passes a multitude of churches and monasteries, resembling a travelling museum of Romanesque art. Six stages of this historic trail are included in our self-guided walking program in France.
This stage between Lectoure and Aire sur l'Adour takes you through the heart of the Armagnac region. Leaving the limestone coloured landscapes surrounding Lectoure, the trail weaves through the Gers with its open farmland interspersed with historic villages dominated by their cathedrals and churches, bullrings and bastides. Markets with an abundance of local products and fields of corn and vines lay testament to the areas deep connections to the land and the strong gastromomic traditions of the region.

In the heart of Tuscany, Italian ingenuity came to life from the 12th to 14th centuries as the precursor to the Renaissance. The streets, squares, palaces, and churches in Florence and Lucca reflect the beauty, charm, and authenticity born from the movement. Outside the city, experience dazzling Tuscan vineyards and countrysides carpeted with olive and cypress trees. Discover the pink limestone streets of Portoferraio on Elba. We'll continue on to the Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia, cruising past granite rocks and hidden beaches with turquoise waters. The Costa Smeralda shores offer views of jagged banks alternating with peaceful bays. Our last stop is the unforgettable Cinque Terre and its colorful homes suspended over the open sea.
