The Spain tour we were was very good. The hotels were fine as were the breakfast meals. The guides were excellent at each stop as well as our guide and driver for the entire tour.

The planned visits were all exceptional and really did a great job of giving us a true picture of all that Romania has to offer. Between the history and the art and architecture and natural beauty we felt it was a very complete itinerary. Lastly, our guide Gelu did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed our trip and left us with an even greater appreciation for Romania. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight at all the planned stops. In addition, he has worked to cultivate some additional contacts around the country and shared with us some additional sights and tidbits not on the original itinerary.

Art lovers like me, this one’s for you. Portugal dazzled with art and faith. Two features jumped out immediately: Lisbon’s Monastery of Jeronimos, a Manueline masterpiece and Fatima, a place of deep meaning. Wandering Nazare’s windy cliffs and watching Atlantic surf pound felt elemental.
Obidos’ castle and ramparts invited daydreams of knights and medieval poets. The Gothic arches of Batalha took my breath away. Porto's tile-covered churches and artistic heritage felt soulful as we sampled local port wines beside the Douro River.
The highlight was Coimbra, Europe’s amazing academic city, steeped in history and tradition. The old university chapel’s 18th-century Portuguese Baroque design left me speechless.
Guides were enthusiastic and informative. If you love art, faith, and ocean air, this tour is a rich tapestry not to be missed.
