This is quite a challenging trek and the distances were slightly more than the trip notes. Plenty of steep ups and downs and poles definitely needed. Having said that the scenery is stunning and the trip balanced well. The hut accommodation is pretty comfortable and warm and more of a hostel really with outdoor loos. The huts also provide crocs so no real need to carry spare footwear if you want to save weight and space in your day rucksack.

Beautiful and spectacular scenery, remote ruined castles, a strange ghost city, preserved monasteries, ancient fortresses, Roman and Greek ruins, the tour encompassed them all as well as moderate length, reasonably challenging hikes. Our tour leader Engin, was entertaining, interesting and a fount of knowledge on all things Cypriot. He kept the group moving to timetable and frequently pointed out flowers and plants, as well as leading us expertly through some (at times) challenging terrain. With a comfortable bus, a highly competent driver and a pleasant hotel which lacked nothing and was staffed by such friendly people, the whole trip was a most enjoyable and stimulating way to see in the New Year. Such a lovely group of hikers too.

We saw a lot of Sapin which was what we wanted. The itinerary was great. However, it was a bit rushed and a lot more walking then indicated. The coach was very nice, comfortable and well equipped, nice big window as long as you were not seated by a partition of the windows. The hotels were for the most part very nice. The hotel in Valencia was terrible.

Enjoyable and leisurely trip, helped by blue sky and sunshine and brilliant tour leader Rocio. Tavira is pleasant and picturesque with small shops, restaurants and historic sites (recommend the Islamic Museum), nice to stroll around in the evening. Only negative comment is that walking four miles on sand isn’t easy or pleasant, even when it’s a beautiful beach.

I can't speak highly enough of the crew. They created a thoroughly enjoyable experience and genuinely cared about those of us travelling on board. I loved everything about the trip. There was plenty of activity to be had or rest if that was what was needed. Boating life was wonderful and of course the ultimate highlight the 3 Lochs - Ness, Oich and Lochy and the majestic environment which we had the absolute pleasure of walking with an experienced guide. Walking the length of The Great Glen Way was an option rather than a must. I took the option of resting or walking a shorter distance when needed. Scotland you certainly made my heart sing. We had a fabulous time with Explore, the walking tour was breathtaking! Majestic snow capped mountains surrounded by the gorgeous array of wildflowers, and lakes and streams dotted throughout .
