This was a fun trip, but it was very fast-paced. It gave a great overview of all that the UK and Ireland have to offer, but there wasn’t enough time to see very much of it in depth. It’s perfect for helping you pick out the places you want to see again in more detail. It involves a fair amount of riding around on the coach, but the route is consistently planned with carefully spaced “comfort” breaks. Some of the stops in small towns were given too much time, when there wasn’t much to do or see, and some of the stops could have been longer, when there was a lot to see or do. Our Tour Director was excellent, and so was our driver. Most of the hotels were very nice, with a few that were just OK. The included group dinners weren’t very exciting, but they were reasonable and tasty.

Explore Scotland's wild islands, home to some of the world's largest seabird colonies, including adorable puffin and noisy Arctic tern. The Scottish isles are a bird watcher's paradise with species such as fulmar, kittiwake, guillemot, gannet and shag too. Your ship will get you as close to these sightings as possible, but you can also take to the water in Zodiacs to really get the most out of your wildlife experiences. Seal will frolic close to you and you may encounter whale and dolphin swimming around you. Back on land, discover ancient sites, huge monoliths and remote, picturesque villages in the Hebrides, Shetlands and little-visited tiny isles surrounding the mainland. This is a diverse exploration of rugged and remote Scottish islands, from a unique vantage point.
Visit St. Kilda - a World Heritage Site

The tour was fabulous. We saw most of the highlights we expected and some we had not thought about. The tour was fast paced but very well managed by Francesca. Kevin was a great driver. I would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone who is looking for a tour of all of the of the highlights of the British Isles.

The entire trip was wonderful. I’m unable to single out just one city or experience because I enjoyed it all equally. I signed up for every optional experience and was not disappointed. I loved the ruins and the history from both our tour director and the specialists brought on in various areas.
This tour provided an interesting overview of and insights into the culture/people of England and Scotland. The small group format made for a more intimate experience and the opportunity to get to know our fellow travelers. Good job.
Overall we had a wonderful time. We are looking at other itineraries.
But I have some suggestions. It would be nice to have a meet and greet at the first dinner. To state our names and where we are from etc. so it doesn't take a week to know everyone's name.
I thought the first and last day were very confusing. We didn't have clear direction where to go and where to meet and what the plan was.
I wish we had more information about the additional events prior to booking them like where, what, and menus. Some menus we would have passed on.
