David was an outstanding guide. Top notch. His skills, personality and genuine joy of his work made the trip memorable. We felt well looked after. We loved Croatia, the group and the itinerary. We used e-bikes, but the majority of people were on regular bikes and got through it just fine. There was always Borges, our fearless driver, nearby with water, snacks, our backpacks and most importantly, ready to fix anything that could have gone wrong with the bikes.
I highly advise staying in Dubrovnik an extra night. It’s a city that’s best seen at night.
This was an amazing trip. The Dalmatian Coast of Croatia is spectacular. The islands we visited were beautiful especially when explored by bike. We highly recommend this trip.
The whole experience was wonderful. The home stay family welcomed us like we were old friends. The food was awesome and always fresh. The activities were well thought out. I would recommend this tour to my friends for sure.
A wonderful week in North Dalmatia with a group of people who socialised, encouraged, laughed and enjoyed the time together. Our guides, Ivan and Dino were outstanding. Knowledgeable, the right mix of fun and making sure we were listening to instructions carefully. The crew on the Magellan were also terrific. Food was plentiful (bordering on too much in fact - but of course you only eat what you want). A memorable first adventure for us!
Cycle along the coastlines and hilly outcrops of the Dalmatian Coast on this seven-day cycling adventure. Ride to islands of olive groves and cypress forests to sparkling beaches, then wander romantic cities full of history. Walk along Hvar’s cobbled lanes and Korcula’s small town streets, chill out along Split’s harbour esplanade and discover the secrets behind Dubrovnik’s medieval walls. Explore Hvar Island at your own pace, ride to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stari Grad Plain and enjoy a group picnic with views of the Adriatic.
Dora our guide leader was amazing. Very calm and very organised.
The boat, Sans Sova, was very comfortable. The crew were very friendly and the meals delicious.
We really enjoyed the cycling in Istria. The roads were in great shape for road bikes and had very little traffic except getting in and out of Pula which is to be expected. There were lots of places to stop for cappuccino, snacks and lunch, bikes were a perfect way to visit so many villages in the hills and on the coast. The hotels were great with variety from resort style hotels to boutique hotels in the old towns. The luggage transfer was smooth. We were given maps, an app and gpx files so we were never in danger of getting lost.
The trip was a well planned and executed family orientated holiday. I feel that two "On Board" guides was unnecessary - the shore guides were excellent and added good value.
