I grew up in Rome, Italy, surrounded by the culture and history of the Mediterranean. From an early age I developed a deep connection with the sea, which eventually led me to build my career around sailing and travel in the Adriatic region. For more than a decade I have been working in yacht charter and experiential travel, specializing in sailing holidays in Croatia and Montenegro. Over the years I have helped travelers from all over the world discover this region by sea — from the islands of Dalmatia to the spectacular Bay of Kotor. Sailing allows visitors to experience the Adriatic very differently from traditional tourism, reaching hidden coves, small historic towns, and beautiful islands that are often inaccessible by land. What motivates me most is designing journeys that are tailored to each traveler. Some guests are looking for a relaxed island-hopping sailing holiday with family or friends, while others want a more immersive experience that combines sailing, culture, local cuisine, and the natural beauty of the coastline. The Adriatic is one of the most remarkable sailing regions in the world, and I am passionate about helping travelers experience it in a way that feels effortless, personal, and memorable.

Alexandra's Expertise

I specialize in sailing experiences in Croatia and Montenegro, particularly along the Dalmatian coast and the Bay of Kotor. My focus is on designing customized sailing itineraries on catamarans, sailing yachts, and traditional gulets. I help travelers explore destinations such as Dubrovnik, Korčula, Mljet, and the islands of Central Dalmatia, as well as Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, Budva Riviera, and the Lustica Peninsula. The experiences I organize often combine sailing, island hopping, historic coastal towns, swimming in hidden coves, and discovering local food and wine along the Adriatic coast.

Best Travel Experience

One of my most memorable travel experiences was sailing into the Bay of Kotor early in the morning. The mountains rise directly from the sea, creating a spectacular landscape that feels almost like a fjord. We anchored near Perast, which is my favorite town on the Adriatic. From the yacht, we took the tender boat to visit the small island of Our Lady of the Rocks, a beautiful church built on a tiny man-made island in the bay. Arriving there by boat, with the calm water and the historic town of Perast in the background, is a magical experience and one of the moments that truly shows the beauty of sailing in Montenegro.
