We had the best time on our Costa Rica trip. I was worried about the coordination, but all went smoothly. The communication was fantastic and and when little things happened they were always available on Whatsapp for updates and reassurance. We need a word to describe this trip: When you have expectations, images, and ideas. Yet they all prove to be pathetic, for the reality is much fuller--full of casual sloths, jumping off of waterfalls, picking cacao fruits in someone's backyard, practicing Spanish with locals, spying on a tapir through binoculars at Corcovado National Park. This is a new option for prospective visitors to Costa Rica and one I would unreservedly recommend. The anticipated daily downpours didn't materialise [ though, of course there was some rain ], and we spent most of the trip observing fantastic wildlife in dense jungle or warm, blue seas under blue skies. The hotels were all comfortable and well located and the mix between activity and leisure was well planned.

I went on this holiday with my family. There were eleven of us, my daughter & her husband, my son & his wife and my 6 Grandchildren ages 8 to 13.
This was a perfect family adventure for us, lots of variety and Tarik was a brilliant, fun leader. The holiday exceeded our expectations. The other families on the trip were like minded people and we all got on very well.
The highlights were swimming with sharks for the children and climbing the magnificent Mayan temples for me.
