We had a fantastic time and enjoyed having access to some of the smaller, less travelled islands. We had experiences we wouldn't have had on a self-guided trip and the opportunity to meet other travellers (I actually added a week of travel in another country with a friend I met on the boat!). I had the most fantastic time island hopping through Greece. The views were absolutely beautiful, but a lot of it was due to our fantastic trip manager, *Personal details removed by Feefo*, who made sure that we were having a fantastic time all the time no matter what we were doing no matter where we went. He went above and beyond and made sure that even during our free time when he didn’t need to that, we were having reservations at dinner or going out somewhere fun and having drinks and he just did a really absolutely fantastic job. And although my group was smaller than the average and made it so it was really intimate and that we were able to connect with the other travellers on the group, and I made some lifelong friends. And of course Greece is absolutely and incredible country and has some many amazing things to see.

We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure aboard the Thalassa. The crew was stellar, the food was amazing and fresh, the seas were smooth so we had no issues with motion sickness. The ship was beautiful and clean. The only issue we encountered was the fumes from the engine room, since our cabin was adjacent to it. It was the strongest on the first night after being in port.

We’re both in our 60s and loved the concept of seeing iconic cities in one tour. Highlights for us were Cape Town and Agra, very well organized with knowledgeable guides. The early morning flights and long transfers were tiring, and there wasn’t much time to unpack before moving again. That said, we met lovely people and learned so much. We just wish we had more time in Singapore. They handled logistics impressively for such a big tour. Would recommend for flexible, energetic travelers.

This tour combines ancient Athens and visits to Greece's beautiful Aegean islands with some of Turkey's most impressive and important highlights. Among others, you'll see the extensive Roman ruins at Ephesus, Pamukkale's calcium travertines, underground cities and surreal landscapes in Cappadocia and the bustling city of Istanbul.
We start in Athens with plenty of time to visit the famous ancient sites like the Acropolis and Parthenon, before heading out to the picturesque island of Santorini for plenty of sun, sea and sand. We island hop to Mykonos and Samos for more beach time before arriving at Kusadasi in Turkey. We'll visit the nearby roman ruins at Ephesus before heading inland to enjoy the rejuvenating thermal waters and limestone Travertines at Pamukkale and Heirapolis. We continue east to spend time in the fairytale landscape that is Cappadocia and venture underground to explore the fascinating underground cities. From here we head back to Istanbul, via the capital Ankara, and spent our final days visiting the famous sites like Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, and the Aya Sofya.
