We were very happy and impressed with the experience we received on this trek. When we arrived in Kathmandu there was heavy rains and flooding that disrupted normal travel to the Everest region. Yet, this tour operator did an amazing job at organizing everything for us so that we didn’t miss anything and started on time. Our guide Pasang Tamang was amazing and friendly, and he did a fantastic job communicating with us and keeping us safe. Very highly recommend, and I hope to go on another trip with Pasang again.

This trip is a great way to pack a lot in, with a limited amount of time. The sights do not disappoint and even though it’s been 10 years since we both last visited India, the love affair continues! A special mention goes to our wonderful guide, Neha. Unflappable, kind & a superb ambassador for her crazy, colourful country. We were blessed with a fantastic group, all taking in what India has to offer in our varied strides. I would probably give the Motor Museum a miss at the end of the tour and replace with a bit more of Delhi (India Gate perhaps?) But just a mild criticism of a great week in a beautiful & vibrant country.

I went solo in low season (Jan) and it was amazing! It was cold at night, but i had the trail and all of the lodges to myself. That's how I like it. If you prefer a more solitary experience, this is the time to do it. Also, blue skies the entire time. I did 12 days that included Poon Hill and Anapurna Base Camp. Ramesh was my guide and he was the best! He really knows his stuff took care of everything. Such a great person too. I had been wanting to do this for 20 years and I was not disappointed. Seriously the trip of a lifetime. This outfit was recommended to me by word-of-mouth, and I'm telling everyone who will listen to come to Nepal and get into the mountains with these guys!

If I was just scoring on my Egypt tour, it would definitely have been a 10/10. Ramez was the most amazing tour leader and didn't let us down at all. His passion and knowledge for everything Egypt was fantastic and he was very well organised and we knew exactly where we were going and where we had to be everyday. An excellent 3 weeks with 2 excellent guides. Sri Lanka section was well organised by our guide Nala. he tweaked the itinerary so that we got the very best out of our time and imparted so much information about every aspect of Sri Lanka. He kept us on time fitting extra stops in if we were passing something to see like a banana market and fishermen hauling nets in on the beach. Accommodation was exactly as described and the usual Explore authentic assortment of comfortable and more rustic. There were lots of English style plug sockets in the hotels, but i would take an adaptor as well just in case. Highlights were climbing Adams Peak starting at 2am, and passing some very elderly people making the pilgrimage to the temple at the top. A unique experience. Also the train journey over 9 arch bridge. Great fun. Maldives- again we had a superb guide- Moosa. Extremely knowledgeable about the ocean and also gave us a lot of fascinating history and politics background of the Maldives. Island visits provided an insight into the real country. The boat was spacious clean and comfortable. Didn't expect the hotel like room services - bed making and towel changing! Food on the boat was amazing. Plentiful and a variety of dishes inc freshly caught fish. Had 2 snorkels a day building up the length and difficulty of them. So many colourful fish, it was like swimming in a tropical fish tank. Also saw turtles, moray eels, sharks and rays including a manta. The tender was always out with us keeping an eye on us whilst snorkelling. Overall a fabulous itinerary and guides on land and sea

My friend and I are both retired teachers in our late 60s. We’ve been to Europe a few times so we wanted to try something new and off the usual tourist path. This tour of South Africa and Dubai was a great choice. We appreciated that the pace wasn’t too fast. There were days with early starts, especially for safaris, but it was worth it. Kruger National Park was incredible. We saw a herd of elephants. Seeing a baby elephant brought tears of joy! The guides knew exactly where to look and explained everything clearly. Both of us are fans of good wine, so we chose to do an optional tour of the winelands in Stellenbosch. We tried a variety of wines and cheeses. It was surely a wholesome day. Dubai was something else entirely. So modern and so clean. We saw Burj Khalifa and wow, it's massive and elegant in a way. We were comfortable the whole way. I’d say this was a great trip, and you can try it, too.
