I thought the Japan tour was going to be a good trip but it exceeded all my expectations. The sights were wonderful, clean and unique. Japan is a beautiful country and the places we saw we visited were incredible. Each day had its own WoW moments and they were breath taking. The places we were taken to were highlights and each different which we appreciated. Jamie the tour leader was always there and helped so much. Japan can be hard to navigate but it was made simple and fun. The day were constant but not rushes or exhausting and flowed to enhance the trip. The bus driver and Jamies assistant on the tour were also so helpful and kind. I have been on 7 Expat tours and this ranks as one of if not the best trips I have taken and I highly recommend it.

The guide was engaging, patient, and fluent in both English and Arabic; they shared stories of ancient Nabateans, Ottoman heritage, and Bedouin tradition in a way that made me feel connected, not just like a tourist. Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well‑chosen; meals were authentic Jordanian cuisine, often family‑run restaurants with warm hospitality. Transportation was safe and comfortable, with thoughtful rest stops. The pace was balanced—neither rushed nor sluggish—allowing moments to reflect, take photos, or simply breathe in the beauty. As described the tour is full on but its so worth it to see so much. This tour really throws you into Indian history and witnessing day-to-day life was fascinating. You cover a lot of ground with some very long travel days but the sites around Rajasthan make up for it with stops always providing interest.
The hotels were great with a good mix between heritage properties and the modern facilities. Gajner Palace hotel was a particular highlight and the setting is incredible.

My friend and I are both retired teachers in our late 60s. We’ve been to Europe a few times so we wanted to try something new and off the usual tourist path. This tour of South Africa and Dubai was a great choice.
We appreciated that the pace wasn’t too fast. There were days with early starts, especially for safaris, but it was worth it. Kruger National Park was incredible. We saw a herd of elephants. Seeing a baby elephant brought tears of joy! The guides knew exactly where to look and explained everything clearly.
Both of us are fans of good wine, so we chose to do an optional tour of the winelands in Stellenbosch. We tried a variety of wines and cheeses. It was surely a wholesome day.
Dubai was something else entirely. So modern and so clean. We saw Burj Khalifa and wow, it's massive and elegant in a way.
We were comfortable the whole way. I’d say this was a great trip, and you can try it, too.

On the whole a great itinerary. I would drop the Sunderbans though, since the chance of seeing any wildlife while sailing for hours up and down the middle of the river is unlikely, especially since the animals are behind a fence. We had an excellent tour leader, Kiran who is warm, very informed and energetic and who certainly went that extra mile in solving problems and caring for everyone. The local guides who travelled with us were also great, as were the drivers. The hotels in India were the Summit hotels, an Indian chain. They are clean and quite well organised. However since those in Sikkim were out of town we were forced to eat dinner in the hotels which produced the identical menu. It would have been better to have spent the bits of free time we had in Sikkim in the towns themselves.

It was a great trip!! our tour manager was incredible and all the other guides in each country were also amazing. Shoutout to our guide is Malaysia!! He was so passionate and gave us a great true experience of Malaysia.
Bangkok to Singapore Adventure is a bit different from other contiki trips since we joined an already existing group and there were people joining and leaving throughout.
