Lovely people!. Every city/town we visited deserved more time, but within time constraints c we have seen a lot! The recommend extra trip to see Mount Fuji was wonderful, but one has to be lucky with the weather ..
Accommodation was very good. Loved the one night in the old fashioned Japanese hotel. Excellent breakfasts in every hotel.

Sri Lanka was an amazing country to experience. The Explore itinerary is well thought out to cover a variety of places and experiences, as much as it can be done in a short two weeks time. I loved the Sigiriya climb and the Hortons plains walk the most. And the elephants and their babies, of course.
The accommodation was good. The food was plentiful, and usually not an issue to find something for everyone's taste. There were times when I felt we had been faced with one too many buffet options, when lighter choices would have been more desirable. But I understand that a buffet was usually the most expedient way to accommodate a group of our size.
With 12 people in the group, mostly solo travellers, we had a very good dynamic. People were always included if they so desired, and also had the option to step out of the group bubble and do their own thing.
Hector, our driver, was a joy to be around, always attentive, safe, and going out of his way to make sure we were all taken care of, always with a smile. Thank you Hector!
And not the least, Nala, our tour leader, was the secret ingredient that made it all even better. Always with a big smile and a big heart, assessing everyone's needs and desires and trying to accommodate everyone, Nala was a treasure trove of information about Sri Lanka. We had a great experience with Khum and this company. The transport to and from the trek was smooth. The trek holds breath-taking views with mostly straightforward days for a fit walker with a few challenging days. I highly recommend the trek for any nature lover and enthusiastic trekker. It is, however, the guide and porter that absolutely make the trek! They really do become like family on the trek. Raju has mastered the art of being a guide. He knows well when to give space and when to engage with encouragement or knowledge. We met many guides on the trek and, whilst they were all lovely, we felt especially fortunate to have Raju with his uplifting energy, enthusiastic knowledge and witty humour. Raju made the experience perfect. He acquired the best rooms he could to look after us as one of had a stomach infection. The rooms were better than expected all the way round as Raju managed to get us private rooms at every tea house and always offered extra blankets and pillows! He was patient and kind and remained positive towards achieving our goal despite the difficult illness. He also supplied the medicine which cured us and allowed us to complete the trek. It’s safe to say this would not have happened without Raju! We played cards every night and we shared different games with each other, this was a real highlight! Nima was also a lovely and caring porter who with his limited English communicated largely in kindness and respect. He was always there to help and support and several times returned from dropping the heavy bag to help! Despite the illness, the trip ran smoothly because of Raju and Nima and it has perpetuated our deep love for Nepal and a desperation to return and complete more treks. We can’t thank Raju and Nima enough for their excellency and for making our trip so special!
Without Raj, I couldn't have accomplished this trek. Despite my poor English, he managed to understand my needs patiently and tried to fulfill them. Witnessed great mountain veiws everyday.

The tour was a total of 15 days, and while fast-paced, the overall experience was magnificent! The locations visited were breathtaking, and the knowledge provided by our tour guide Ramez was unsurpassed. I cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond in making everyone feel welcome and safe during the tour while bringing much fun to the adventure. Great thought went into the planning of the itinerary (particularly in Egypt), so that we would visit attractions at times when both crowds and the heat were minimal. Favourite activities included visiting the Valley of the Kings (including the sunrise hot air balloon ride over the region), Abu Simbel, and the overnight felucca ride which included dancing and merryment around a fire for a group member's birthday. Our group was of about 15, and by the end of the trip we all became great friends. The Jordan segment of the trip was slightly more rushed and disorganised, but still very much enjoyable. We were very happy and impressed with the experience we received on this trek. When we arrived in Kathmandu there was heavy rains and flooding that disrupted normal travel to the Everest region. Yet, this tour operator did an amazing job at organizing everything for us so that we didn’t miss anything and started on time. Our guide Pasang Tamang was amazing and friendly, and he did a fantastic job communicating with us and keeping us safe. Very highly recommend, and I hope to go on another trip with Pasang again.

This trip is a great way to pack a lot in, with a limited amount of time. The sights do not disappoint and even though it’s been 10 years since we both last visited India, the love affair continues! A special mention goes to our wonderful guide, Neha. Unflappable, kind & a superb ambassador for her crazy, colourful country. We were blessed with a fantastic group, all taking in what India has to offer in our varied strides.
I would probably give the Motor Museum a miss at the end of the tour and replace with a bit more of Delhi (India Gate perhaps?) But just a mild criticism of a great week in a beautiful & vibrant country.
