After three years of back 2 back beach vacations, I was ready for something different and Morocco was it in every way. This tour struck the perfect balance between cultural immersion, historical wonder, and breathtaking natural beauty. The itinerary flowed seamlessly taking us from the wide boulevards of Casablanca to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the alleys of Fez and the dunes of the Sahara.
Our guide, Layla, was phenomenal. She was warm, endlessly knowledgeable, and the kind of person who anticipates questions before you even ask. She brought every stop to life, whether we were walking through the historic Medina of Fez or standing in awe before the architectural marvel of the Hassan II Mosque.
One of my personal highlights was the Todra Gorge. As someone who’s hiked canyons in Arizona and Utah, I can honestly say this was even more dramatic. It had sheer walls that glowed orange in the sun and a stillness that felt almost sacred. The camel ride to our desert camp in Merzouga was unforgettable. Watching the sun dip below the dunes, then sharing dinner and music under the stars with fellow travelers made for a night I’ll always remember. From beginning to end, our 5-day journey was an incredible experience. The high point? The hot air balloon ride, camel ride, and quad riding were definitely highlights. Words cannot describe how amazing this trip was, from start to finish. Every detail that the tour company scheduled for us happened exactly as organized, with extremely helpful and friendly guides that met us from the moment we landed to the moment we left. This trip would have been difficult without a private guide, and I also didn't have to organize or schedule anything. They did it all. Not one thing went wrong, or was late. My room mate and I made the decision to embark on this adventure, and we both agree that it was without a doubt the most memorable experience of our lives. Mohamed, our tour guide, was really kind and helpful during our time together, and he took very good care of us. The desert is a breathtaking and beautiful place to visit. The accommodations were wonderful, and they even had a pool. Along the route, there were a number of rest spots with restrooms and refreshment areas . We had a great time participating in the many outdoor activities that were available, particularly the horseback riding, hiking, and quad biking. I highly recommend them!

Wonderful tour and met all our expectations. It was a real treat having Abdul as our guide. Very positive experience overall. Our only frustration was when we first joined the tour group, the van we rode in to Marrakesh was already full. The four of us had to ride in the very back which was really meant for 3 people. Two of our travelling companions are over 6 ft. tall and our shoulders were overlapping by 6-8 inches. It was super uncomfortable as well as one of us gets car sick, so sitting in back in super tight quarters (with no windows and air conditioning that was not working from the front to the back of the van) was completely unacceptable. We in no way blame Abdul as this was not his doing, it was the responsibility of this company to make sure this did not happen. I hope you take care of this situation for future!

I cannot thank our guide Youssef and mule driver Mustafa enough, they were absolutely brilliant and really made this trip extremely special. I’ve completely fallen in love with the Atlas Mountains and the kind people who live there.
The trail is beautiful and takes you through varied and geologically interesting landscapes. We did the walk in December, and there hadn’t been snowfall yet, so the walk itself wasn’t overly strenuous giving us the chance to take in the surroundings and put the world to rights, and time to explore the villages in the evenings.
We were fortunate enough to have clear skies every night - in the small villages the view of the stars is incredible!
