The first day we went to Tarangire and saw many elefants, giraffes, lions, monkeys etc. It was a fun and interesting start of our adventure. The next day we passed Ngorongoro and went to Serengeti. Beside other animals, we saw leopards and buffalos! It was amazing. We also had buffalos around our camp during the night so that was pretty awesome. The last day we saw rhino in the crater! We saw all of the Big 5! Great experience, worth the money and I would definitely recomend it to anyone. We stoped at masai village (Longoko) for an entrance fee of 50$ per car and it was interesting as well.

An excellent trip that I highly recommend, giving the opportunity to see some unique lemurs, reptiles and insects up close and walk and camp in remote unspoiled areas. Every day brought something different and surprising experiences that felt authentic and non-touristy. Aside from the wildlife spotting, there are lots of highlights for me including walking in an area nicknamed the 'small grand canyon', being amazed by ancient baobab trees in the spiky forest, visiting a village market (a popular meeting place for brightly dressed locals) and a bustling zebu cattle market. There were some long journeys at times but this was necessary in order to see the wide-ranging landscapes and wildlife. With scenery that went from paddy fields, to rain forests to rocky mountain terrain and dry sandy terrain and coastlines, the views outside the minibus and 4x4s were never dull. Being led by a brilliant local leader who was so knowledgeable and willing to help whenever needed, the holiday was really enjoyable.

Lying in our tent at night listening to hyenas, elephants and other non-identified animals is something we will never forget, nor will we forget watching lions moving into the shade of our vehicle as we watched them walking in the sand. Trip overall was terrific. Changes that could be made to future safaris. Game drives should only go out early morning, return to camp by 11am. 2nd game drive should start about 3pm until sunset. Rest at camp from 11am to 3pm. Boxed lunches should be deleted as they were well below standard & not terrible. Rift Valley Photographic Lodge was below standard & one night is plenty. The road in & out of the Lodge was absolutely terrible. My room had a terrible smell from shower drain & I was moved. The next room had no hot water until I chased it up. Swimming pools were all empty. Cut out long village walk as too hot & drive onto next lodge. You need at least 2 full days in the fantastic Ambroseli park. Masai Mara should be 2 full days experience & 2 full days in Ngorongoro Crater. Completely drop day 8 cultural experience etc from itinerary. We were all charged USD20 to visit Masia village but found out later Masai visit was free in initerary. The jeep in Kenya was old & very uncomfortable. The jeep in Tanzania was modern, a good ride & very uncomfortable. That part of the tour needs to be looked due to jeep travelling time.
