As the country’s fourth-largest national park, Mikumi offers remarkable year-round wildlife viewing amid landscapes dotted with iconic Borassus palm trees.
This short tour brings you straight to the heart of the action, visiting top attractions like the Hippo Pools—where you can watch hippos wallow and play—and the renowned Millennium area, a hotspot for wildlife photography. Expect to see a vibrant assortment of animals, from elephants and lions to a wide array of birds and reptiles. The picturesque backdrop of savannahs and wetlands enhances every moment.
Your overnight stay is in a comfortable tented camp just outside the park, blending adventure with convenience. The tour’s unique selling point lies in its accessibility—perfect for those in Dar es Salaam wanting a comprehensive wildlife experience without venturing far from the city.

2 day Mikumi safari
Good experience. Quick communication. Nice land cruiser, good hotel, driver acted as guide and was knowledgeable and accommodating to our wishes. Would use their services again.
Mikumi Safari- Highly Recommended with Kanuth
I had a quick trip scheduled to Tanzania, and my group of 3 was able to book a tour with the help of local tour specialists. The bookings went flawlessly from start to finish. The operator made special arrangements to suit our schedule and requests for a night safari as well as morning safari. Mr. Kanuth drove our truck himself and was extremely knowledgeable about the types of plants and animals along the drive and within the park- we saw everything except Rhinos and big cats, but those were never guaranteed anyway. He was very friendly and welcoming and was a wealth of knowledge about Mikumi National Park and Tanzanian culture in general. The entire experience with food and lodging included was well worth the price he offered.
