Simple stays with essential amenities. Typically guesthouses, hostels or hotels rated below 3 stars — clean, no-frills, and great for value-conscious travelers.
Comfortable and reliable 3-star stays. Expect private rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and solid amenities — a great balance between comfort and cost.
Upscale 4-5 star hotels and lodges. Enjoy high-end service, refined comfort, and premium locations — ideal for travelers seeking extra indulgence.
Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater form the backbone of this 5-day camping adventure—perfect for wildlife enthusiasts craving the raw, untamed beauty of Tanzania. Ernest Hemingway once called Lake Manyara the ‘loveliest’ he’d seen in Africa, and you’ll quickly see why as you witness thousands of flamingos and herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo.
Next, experience the world-famous Serengeti, where the Great Migration unfolds in a spectacle of survival and drama. Watch as game animals traverse crocodile-filled rivers and predators stalk their prey in real time. The journey concludes in the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem where rare species like the black rhino thrive, and the chance to spot the Big Five in a single day is high.
The USP of this tour package lies in its access to some of the most concentrated wildlife viewing opportunities on the planet, all while camping under the stars for an authentic safari experience. Ideal for those who seek both adventure and nature’s grandeur.

The view from top was stunning and the game drive within the crater area was breathtaking. One of the highlights is for sure the black rhinos, and we saw in total eight, although from certain distance. Amazing experience!
Just a short drive from Johannesburg, Pilanesberg National Park offers a thrilling one-day safari for those eager to encounter South Africa’s iconic Big Five—elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. Renowned for its unique geological setting, the park sits in the remnants of an ancient volcano, providing both dramatic scenery and rich biodiversity.
Begin your adventure with an early morning arrival and an exciting game drive, pausing at key viewpoints and the Pilanesberg Centre for lunch. Here, you can photograph animals gathering at the waterhole and browse for authentic African handicrafts. The afternoon brings further game-spotting opportunities, with a chance to see some of the 370+ bird species that call the reserve home.
For those seeking a day of wildlife and natural beauty within easy reach of the city, this trip’s USP is its combination of world-class game viewing and fascinating geological history, all in a single, memorable day.
This was an excellent Safari. The Tour was as described for style and is not for the faint hearted. We observed all of the animals and birdlife you could wish for. This was a real adventure and both my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The itinery could do with an update although in the grand scheme of things would not have made much difference.

Armond was an amazing leader, with local knowledge a good sense of how to engage us all in what was happening, and life in general in Madagascar. We learned so much. The local tour guides at each national park were super helpful and gave us that individual attention to be able to find the amazing animals. Michele our bus driver was incredible - how we didn't feel bounced around on those super rough roads was testament to his skill.
Being an active tour was really good - not so long in the bus each day and a chance to get a walk in really made a difference.
The challenge of the 4-day hike up a mountain was memorable and felt like a real achievement.
