day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Welcome! At about 8:30 am we will begin our drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Once we arrive, we'll head out for our first game drive.
Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours - leaving swathes of Tarangire virtually untouched!
Late afternoon depart the park and drive to Fig Tree Camspite for dinner and overnight.

Great Tour
Daudi answered all of our questions patiently and quickly from the start. All of our accommodations were excellent, with amazing food and service. Special thanks to Jordan and Peter, our very knowledgeable and friendly guides who made this trip so memorable.
