Dreaming of an African safari? This 5-day budget safari through Tanzania’s top national parks is your gateway to adventure. Journey with expert guides to Tarangire National Park—famed for its majestic elephant herds—descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, dubbed the eighth wonder of the world, and explore the legendary Serengeti teeming with lions and cheetahs. Each day promises breathtaking landscapes, close wildlife encounters, and a taste of local culture. Designed for wildlife lovers and explorers, this tour’s USP is its unbeatable value and expertly crafted itinerary, making an epic safari experience accessible to all travelers who crave the wild beauty of Tanzania.

day 1Arusha - Tarangire

You will be picked up in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas.
Later during the afternoon you will go to Tarangire Public Campsite for your dinner and overnight. Lunch and dinner included (and camping of course - all accommodation and equipment is included in this safari).

Excellent safari with Agama!

Had a great time with this tour company. I was volunteering in Tanzania for 2 months and did a 6 day tour in the end, absolutely amazing! I took a budget 6 day tour Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The guide what absolutely brilliant, couldn't possibly find a better guide. Professional, obviously had plenty of experience and knowledge and more than that, was just great with people and comfortable to be with. Saw plenty of animals and the beautiful country o my. Food was great and operation overall smooth. You just have to go there and not just see it on tv!

5 days budget safari

5 days of safari was great for seeing Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. We spent one day in each park except for Serengeti where we stayed two nights in the middle of the park, sleeping in tents. That was by far the best part of the whole experience, even though I had a fever the first night and it was raining the second. Still it was much more of an outdoor experience than sitting in the car and if I go on safari again I would very much like to do a walking safari or go canoeing one day. I know it's not for everyone but I thought it was awesome and just the right amount of scary having elephants, giraffes, baboons, lions and buffaloes just outside the camp and hyenas three meters from the tent fighting over the garbage and hearing frogs quackle all through the night. I really liked going at the start of the rain season since we got to see more variety in weather. Afterwards I feel like I could have skipped Tarangire National Park, since all the animals we saw there we also saw in Serengeti, although the environment in the two parks was really different so therefore I don't regret seeing both of them. The best thing with visiting all of those four parks was the big variety in environment, otherwise I'd probably feel fine with only visiting Serengeti.
