This safari takes you to four of the best national parks in Tanzania. Lake Manyara is a good soft introduction to the safari experience. It is a magical and pretty park that winds its way around a mainly forested driving route between the banks of soda water lake and the impressive rise of the Great Rift escarpment. The Serengeti National Park is justifiably famous for its huge concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats, as well as being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival. This safari exceeded all my expectations. We departed from Dar es Salaam and enjoyed a cross-country drive where we got to soak in the Tanzanian wilderness. Arriving in Selous was like going back in time, everything was so wild and beautiful. Completely off-grid. We stayed at Hippo camp which was a nice little collection of wooden lodges on the river side with a great view. All meals (even the packed lunches) were of a high quality. My favourite wildlife moment was feeding the bush babies at night in Hippo camp - wish I could have taken one home. On the third day we woke up before sunrise for a jungle walk with an incredible guide who entertained us and told us 'bush' stories wish were certainly unforgettable! The wildlife in Selous was definitely up to scratch and it was so enjoyable to cruise through the varying and outstandingly beautiful wilderness. Book it now!

Wow - not even sure where to begin. We did a 5-night 6 day safari with the local tour operator. It was difficult for us to select which company we were going to safari with and we couldn't have been more happy with our choice. We were always comparing our vehicle, food and guide info with others along the way and it seemed like we were always better off then those we met! :) Our guide Azaria has a true passion for wildlife and ensuring his guests are happy. He went above and beyond for us in many ways including helping us to buy bus tickets upon our return back to Arusha. Our chef Benjamin surprised us daily with his delicious meals. Peter (the owner) was very patient and answered my many emails with lots of details and quickly. We received quotes from a lot of companies and the one we picked is extremely competitive and we felt in the end priced very fair for the services provided. We camped for 4 nights and then headed to a mid-luxury lodge for our final night. Camping in the middle of the Serengeti was so cool and it was nice to end the adventure in a fancy place! One thing that is very important when considering a company is having unlimited driving KM's. We didn't even know how important this was until we were chasing after a Cheetah and 2 other vehicles wouldn't follow as they were limited to the number of kilometres they could drive each day. Nothing stoped Azaria from trying to show us all the animals! :) I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator to anyone - working with a smaller company who us truly committed to customer satisfaction is totally the way to go for an expensive activity like a safari.

My wife and I did an 8-day private safari - Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Natron. Our guide Focus is a real Maasai community man, so it's not book knowledge, it's the forest in his blood. He took us to his village, Maasai women sang and welcomed us, children jumped and danced - this was not a show, this was their real life. And what touched my heart - a large part of the money from the tour goes directly to the Maasai orphan girls' school and shelter. It's comforting to know that I didn't just come to visit, I was able to help a little bit. Accommodation was very comfortable, food was good and the car was very clean. The price may seem a little high, but it's a lot less than what I got. I'll be back with the kids next year. Hakuna matata!🙏 Thank you very much.

Thanks to the tour operator flexibility, we actually did a 12-day tour of Kenya and Tanzania and it was fabulous. Our two guides, Brian and Elly, were fun, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We shared a lot of laughs and developed a strong bond in our short time together, and we saw every animal we'd hoped to see (plus some) thanks to them. Customer service was excellent. We, along with a few friends, took part in a 3-day safari, which was planned as Arusha → Tarangire → Lake Manyara → Ngorongoro Crater. We had a lot of fun on this little trip together. At night, it was fun, and during the day, it was all about wildlife. Our guide was very experienced; he would easily find animals and share interesting information about each place. The huge elephant herd in Tarangire, the colorful birds of Lake Manyara and the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro Crater are still remembered. This safari will definitely be a great experience for those who want to enjoy the original beauties of Tanzania in less time.
