This tour provider hits it out of the park on the big wins: safety, logistics, and expertise. Their guides conducted twice daily health checks, measuring blood oxygen to ensure we were acclimating appropriately and they had medication ready to cover any malady. On summit day they carried oxygen as a safety measure that I found necessary after experiencing altitude sickness and the team even provided it to another suffering climber whose guides were not carrying oxygen. Not all guide services have these safety measures!
The logistics flow was impressive from the get-go with airport and hotel shuttles. The camp logistics on-mountain was even more so. We’d depart camp after breakfast, they’d have tea and snacks set up along the trail, and we’d arrive at lunch to find the mess tent already set up with lunch ready, just to find it and our sleeping tents set up again at the end of the hike with tea and popcorn waiting and dinner shortly to follow. The consideration that the Porter team put into our comfort was overwhelming.
The expertise of the team was unquestionable. The company clearly takes hiring very seriously and recruits knowledgeable guides. Professionals across the board whom we greatly trusted.
With the big wins checked off in style, the company goes above and beyond with personal touches that make the trip truly memorable. I think the most memorable for us was the tradition and ceremony that the team brought to the experience - celebratory group singing and dancing especially, even cakes and champagne! Then small things like hot water bottles to keep sleeping bags warm really made us feel well cared for.
Madagascar is a beautiful country and we were so lucky to see so much wildlife...including lots of endangered lemurs. The CEO and tour group made the entire experience. My only complaint is that it was too short, I could have stayed longer!

Our guide was very informative.
One downside of trip was all the traveling although there were breaks. There really was no time to enjoy the hotel amenities.
Food was plentiful.Moroccan wine lacks complexity.

Morocco’s culinary scene was another standout, with flavors as rich and diverse as the country itself. From aromatic spices to slow-cooked perfection, every meal was a delight—but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the goat tagine. GAdventures has managed (again) to send me on a journey worth taking. I enjoyed all aspects of our travels: accommodations, recommended restaurants, planned activities, suggested options and more. Two of the countries on our itinerary were new to me and I feel that the amount of time spent in the various locations is enough to give one a taste of what they're all about. We had a fantastic trip to Egypt. I am a single mum with a 10 and 12 year old. We were in a very small group with just one other family and we had a brilliant time. Mohammed, the group leader was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and fun and made everything run smoothly, even the bits that didn’t (don’t expect the train to be on time, however flashy the new station). He was fantastic with the kids and generous with his experience of all aspects of Egyptian life.
The trip is pretty full on but there is downtime built in. We love Egypt and will definitely go back. We’ll also definitely do another holiday with explore. For me, being on my own with the kids, the group meant I got some downtime and everything being so well organised meant I felt like I got a holiday as well! As an added bonus it was no more expensive to have two rooms at the hotels!
