Overall the experience was amazing … as you can check and see we did multiple back to back tours and got an awesome appreciation for the countries and cultures we got to experience. Note there was a 2 week gap in the middle where we travelled with Rovos Rail which contributed to our overall experience but the NatGeo/GAd included village visits etc that allowed us to be up close and personal with people to appreciate their lifestyle.

The tour is very complete and the people has been amazing. However, I strongly recommend to improve the support for people with allergy/ dietary requirements. In my case I have coeliac disease and I felt not supported at all. The CEOs or hotels where not aware of my diet and most of the times I could not eat or I struggled to find safe food. While the rest of the group was having food together I had myself to speak with each cook, hotel and staff without the help of CEOs. I asked several times before joining the trip but even so it was difficult and I would have appreciated that hotels and CEOs were more supportive.

It was a wonderful trip thanks to an exceptional guide, Africa's own treasured wildlife and habitats, and the kind generosity of the natives who shared with us this spectacular part of the world. Yes, the pre-trip paperwork could have been less confusing . The logistics should maybe have been worked out earlier and more definitely. My husband and I recently returned from a eight days safari in Tanzania, the wildlife was really exciting. We saw many animals in the nature. This was one of the best experiences we ever had. Everything was organised perfectly. Accommodation was superb and the game drives were exceptional. A special mention to our guide for being amazing. He was very friendly, but at the same time he also allowed us plenty of time to ourselves. I really suggest to you to do this.
